Jim RoweNorthern France.

I understand that the RAF unveiled a plaque at Hesdigneul-les-Bethune on 23rd July 2014. As I visit the town regularly, could anyone help me with the exact location of the airfield? Perhaps it has been built on now but I'd like to research it. Help please. Jim.

Aaron Rosenblet, the last pilot shot down in WW1 was my uncle. He later died in a plane crash in 1928 after the Detroit Air show with one of the brothers of Taylor Aircraft Company. There were three air craft that crashed that day. One was Ford Motor company planes.

I purchased a nice print of a Curtiss Model G Scout # 21 at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Trying to find photos of this aircraft to find what inspired the Artist, Russell P. Smith. What a beautiful looking, in this case, seaplane.

Can anyone tell me anything about the Liptrap's Aerodrome that was used during WW I by the RFC. I know where it was located (now housing) and was told it was opened 1914 and closed 1915. Thee is a Flight Global article dated July 14,1914 that gives details about a 70 mile roundtrip air race between Shoreham and Liptrap's Aerodrome in Tunbridge Wells but this is all I can find out about it.

Hello, While doing some family history, I saw the correspondence with Enio re Beissbarth written on the side of a plane. The link is not working, it seems - any ideas how to retrieve this? The Beissbarth is my father's uncle, we think.
Any information gratefully received. Thank you.
