She had sparked speculation she could be returning to Geordie Shore, after claiming she is now a castmember of the hit MTV reality series once again on Twitter.

But it has since been revealed Chantelle Connelly is NOT filming again for the show and the reality beauty has been accused of 'lying' about her supposed comeback.

According to The Sun, a source close to MTV has said show bosses were 'mystified' by Chantelle's tweet suggesting she would be returning, as they were unaware of any plans to bring her back on to the show.

She had left Geordie Shore on acrimonious terms last year, later taking a swipe at her former co-stars and branding them 'two-faced snakes', so a return to the show had seemed unlikely for Chantelle.

The insider alleged: 'Everyone was mystified when she tweeted that, as none of the cast or production crew had heard she was returning. To be honest, it'd be very awkward as when she left, she burnt a lot of bridges.'

Accusing Chantelle of fabricating the idea, they added: 'She's probably just doing it to get people talking.'

The reality star sensationally quit the MTV stalwart in the middle of filming series 13 in Greece, before famously hitting out at her pals online.

Taking to Twitter, the petite beauty teased a comeback, as she posted to her 192,000 followers: 'Who would of thought me returning back to @mtvgeordieshore.'

She further teased fans by updating her profile on the micro-blogging site to read: 'Castmember of Geordie Shore'.

But proving things are still tense between her and the stars of the reality show, Chantelle attempted to cause a stir once again, as she later tweeted that: 'So I just been the topic of @Chloe_GShore and @SophieKasaei_ convo in the salon there's always some one ear wigging.'

Following the social media post, Chantelle hit back at the Northern lass, writing: 'Yeah cause your a 2 faced c*** ! In the first few episodes you claimed you loved Marty you sucked Scott off and tried it on with Gary'.

In return, the pint-sized star couldn't help but share how she really felt about her former housemate.

She answered to Jemma's tweet: 'Bunch of 2 faced snakes ! Don't even think any of them like each other but call themselves family.'

Chantelle packed her bags and left Geordie Shore in November, claiming that she could no longer live with 'two-faced snakes'.

Speaking to MTV, Chantelle revealed: 'I left the show because I couldn’t stand living with two-faced people any longer.

'I find the house very snakey. I feel like I was the only one in the house that was real. If I had something to say to someone, I’d be the first to say it to their face.

'Everyone else in that house seemed to have a problem doing that. It was all Chinese whispers instead of approaching us.'
