They dismissed dating rumours earlier this year, insisting they are just friends. 

And Katharine McPhee and David Foster made their firm friendship known to all on Thursday evening as they were seen leaving Hollywood's Peppermint Club, at the Imagine LA 4 Annual Imagine Ball just months after they were first hit with reports over their unlikely relationship.

The charitable event honored Russell Simmons for his dedication to empowerment, while Actor/ComedianTom Arnold emcee’d an intimate evening of musical performances and comedy.

Katharine put her stunning good looks on full display at the event as she went for a simple yet stunning black ensemble complete with a crop top and a flick skirt while she draped a soft biker jacket over her shoulders.

She wore her hair in soft loose waves while keeping her make-up dewy and fresh for her night on the town complete with the gala and a meet with her pal.

The event featured stunning live performances by David Foster, Justine Skye, Brave Native, Eric D-Lux, alongside a talented surprise singing roster brought by David Foster that included Pia Toscano, Shelea, Katherine McPhee, Laura Bretan and Fernando Varela.

Guests celebrated Imagine LA’s unique remarkably effective mentoring model with Whispering Angel, Virginia Black, Absolute Elyx and Herradura, and with the help of auctioneer Melissa of Charity Angels, successfully raised a goal busting $270,000 to fuel ending family homelessness and poverty in Los Angeles. 

Meanwhile, the daughter of Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna showcased her bountiful bosom in the plunging red coat. Her endless legs were on full display as the form fitting pants hugged her lithe frame in the most desirable manner.

Leaving her inhibitions at the door, the blonde flaunted her enviable figure in the revealing wardrobe. The comely character accessorized with only a few rings and a slight chain around her petite neck.

Meanwhile, the American Idol lived in up later on with the famous producer, who she was linked to back in May with sources claiming they got close. 

Insiders said: 'David was seen grabbing Katharine’s face and kissing her cheek several times. Katharine was doing the same to David’s face and they were acting as if they were a couple.'

The charity benefit for the homeless challenge in the City of Angels was hosted by Tom Arnold with performances by David and Justine Skye.
