Appalling journalism - constant adverts

The adverts have taken over this App - why on earth must they have ads with sounds!
The standard of the reporters is terrible. There does not appear to be anyone editing the published news reports. There is endless repetition and far too many needless photos. A lot of the published articles appear to be ripped off from other news sources and web sites without any real investigative reporting by Daily Mail reporters. The most trivial and non news stories are given more prominence than genuine news. It would appear that Daily Mail management do not read the comments left by their readers because many articles draw a lot of criticism about the standard of the reporting. The layout of the App is quite good and is easy to navigate.

Used to be good but I would advise to now avoid.

This used to be one of my favourite apps but now the adverts have taken over. Today whilst trying to read 10 articles, the same 30 second advert (Renault Captur) plays each time. Surely there should be a way to prevent the same advert playing each time. Also I don’t mind the static adverts that come up in the articles but the 30 second adverts that cannot be skipped take longer to watch than it takes to read the actual article.

On a side note the journalism has gone down hill slightly but I actually enjoy reading pointless stories and looking at the amazingly over exaggerated ‘sad faces’ that seem to be a daily feature.

Good but ruined by ads

At first I loved this app, but it is getting slower and slower due to the adverts. I cannot use it on my desktop PC anymore as it literally locks the browser after a while - and this morning it is even slow on my iPhone. I know the ads are a revenue stream for the DM, but unless they find a way to make them less processor intensive, I will stop using it out of frustration.
