Ahoy there! Camila Cabello channels nautical glamour in London after admitting she's 'having so much fun'... as she puts acrimonious split from Fifth Harmony firmly behind her

She left band Fifth Harmony in a cloud of controversy last December.

But Camila Cabello, 20, appeared cheerier than ever as she was spotted in London on Friday.

The Cuban-American songstress, who is in the city to promote her debut solo album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving., channeled nautical glamour as she flitted between meetings.

Ruffle up in a Dry Clean Only top like Camila Cabello

Since leaving Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello has lost her squeaky clean girlband band image and embraced a quirkier way of dressing.

Showcasing her unique personal style in London, Camila sported a Dry Clean Only ruffle top teamed with a Holzweiler denim skirt, before accessorising her look with a Ruslan Baginskiy hat and Gianvito Rossi heels.

Ensuring she turned heads, the pretty brunette slipped into a monochrome sweater with striped off-the-shoulder detailed ruffling, coordinating it with a pair of killer-heeled stilettos.

Despite the chillier climate, Camila completed the look with a denim mini-skirt, showing off her shapely legs as she finished the nautical look with a sailor cap and accessorised with a polka dot clutch.

Adding a pair of quirky reflective sunglasses, she beamed at cameras as she headed to another meeting, later running into Gerard Butler- just a day after posing alongside Liam Payne at the Capital radio studios.

Her appearance comes a few weeks after she opened up about being a solo artist on Today.

Appearing to have no regrets, the stunner admitted: 'I'm having so much fun.

'It's really fun to be able to, you know, bring - make the world that I have had into my head into a reality.'

Last month the Cuban-born songbird, whose hometown Cojimar is said to have inspired Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man And the Sea, opened up on her debut solo album.

Admitting that working on her record also meant she was able to process any feelings of 'hurt' she felt, Camila told the latest issue of Rollercoaster magazine: 'I think I was just avoiding talking about the hurt that I was feeling and I didn't want to come to terms with it, and I feel like writing is such an intimate process.

'At least for me, there's no way I could write about stuff without going through it at the time or feeling a certain way about it at the time - it leads to a lot of self-discovery because you're asking yourself questions, like how do I feel today? How do I feel about this?'

She said: 'In a group, other people do it for you, if that makes sense, because nobody can handle five different opinions on one thing.'

The 'Crying in the Club' hitmaker says the hardest part of working on her own was having to work tirelessly to make sure everything was '100 per cent' perfect.

She explained: 'The biggest challenge I think, honestly, the workload, because I'm such a perfectionist and I want everything to be right and I stress over every little detail - it all requires 100 per cent.'

Camila left the band to pursue a solo career in December 2016, having already released solo material with Shawn Mendes, achine Gun Kelly, and Pitbull and J Balvin.

Her shock departure caused controversy, with the girls sharing their shock on Twitter, before Camila admitted in February that the frosty reception she got when trying to break the ice upset her.

Last month reports surfaced claiming former fellow Fifth Harmony bandmembers Ally Brooke, 24, Normani, Dinah Jane, 20, and Lauren Jauregui, 21, have all been offered solo deals by their label Epic.

However the group have since denied a split, putting on a racy performance at Jay Z's star-studded Tidal benefit raiser concert this week.
