They're trying to learn how to co-parent through their divorce.

But it seems like there might still be a glimmer of hope for Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry, 25, and Javi Marroquin, 24, if Friday's episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars is anything to go by.

The 16 And Pregnant star broke down when resident therapists Dr. Ish Major and Dr. Venus Nicolino asked her to read a heartfelt letter to Javi - as he lay on his 'death bed'.

Tricky divorce: It seems like there might be a glimmer of hope for Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry, 25, and Javi Marroquin, 24, pictured here in 2015

During their 'Pulling The Plug' exercise, Javi lay in a hospital bed as if he were on life support.

Before switching the apparatus off, Kailyn was brought into the room and had to read a letter detailing everything she didn't like about the father of her child.

Then things got emotional for the Hustle And Heart author.

'I care about you so much and I never knocked you as a father,' said Kailyn through tears.

'I'll make sure that our son is taken care of.'

Javi was pleasantly surprised by his partner's words.

'It was nice to finally get some kind of emotion out of her. You never tell me how you feel,' he explained.

'If you were to die, a part of me would die. You will always have a piece of my heart.'
