Model Joan Smalls was in the pink on Monday as she helped honor designer Karl Lagerfeld at a V magazine dinner in New York.

The Puerto Rican beauty, 29, flashed a hint of midriff in her bright ensemble of wraparound blouse tied under her bust and loose-fitting pants at the event held at The Top of the Standard.

She added a pair of white sandals and carried a pink and gold purse.

The dark haired Victoria's Secret model wore her locks tied back into a ponytail with a few strands left loose to frame her face.

She was made up with black mascara, smoky shadow and dark lip color and wore pendant earrings.

Smalls showed her playful side posing for photos reclining on top of the bar with a cardboard cutout of Lagerfeld's face in front of her own.

Joan Smalls was one of the glamorous guests at the V Magazine dinner to honour Karl Lagerfeld this week in New York City.

The model showed off her lithe figure in a matching two piece that flashed her midriff. It's by Area NYC and consists of a satin cropped wrap top and high waisted trousers in the same shiny finish.

We adore the bright pink hue that really ensured Joan stood out from the other diners and she'd accessorised with a pink bag too!

On hand, too, was Keeping Up With The Kardahsians momager Kris Jenner, 61.

German designer Lagerfeld, 84, is the head creative director of the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi and his own eponymous fashion label.
