Ivanka's husband, 36-year-old Jared Kushner, was also seen heading out of their family home this morning, carrying a messenger bag and a bulkier one fit for short-term travel.

He loaded his belongings into the trunk of a white SUV, which was waiting for him outside.

Meanwhile, Ivanka is due on Capitol Hill today, where she'll discuss the child tax credit with Republican House members and senators.

The senior White House adviser has promoted the child tax credit as part of the push for her father's tax plan.

On Monday, she attended a town hall in Richboro, Philadelphia on Monday to defend the GOP's proposed reform.

The event took place with residents and families from the Bucks County area, and Ivanka made the case for how tax reform can benefit working-class and middle-class families.

President Trump's proposed tax reform has been criticized for disproportionately favoring the rich, while Republicans have sought to promote it as favoring the middle class.

During the town hall, Ivanka, who has focused on promoting a plan to expand the child tax credit, said that the credit could help young people starting families, as well as families trying to balance key needs with their budgets.

She said the Trump administration's priority in tax reform is helping middle-income Americans, adding that tax reform will also keep America competitive as businesses consider where to start or grow.

Earlier on Monday, Ivanka was seen heading out of her house in a two-toned pink top with striking bell sleeves in a darker, richer pink than the rest of the ensemble.

She paired the $195 garment, which is manufactured by the LA-based label Staud, with a grey plaid pencil skirt and black stilettos, cutting a chic silhouette that contrasted slightly with her spooky fall decor.

Ivanka and her family have fully embraced the fall season, and have covered their door with faux cobwebs stretching all across the iron.

Behind the mother of three, a few pumpkins were arranged in the entryway, including one that has been carved to give it a frightening smile.

The work is likely the result of a craft project by one of Ivanka's children, six-year-old Arabella, four-year-old Joseph, and one-year-old Theodore.

Joseph seems especially ready for Halloween. On Sunday, his mother shared a photo of the little boy dressed as Catboy, a character in the PJ Masks cartoon series.

Ivanka wrote next to the snap on her Instagram account: 'Joseph took his Catboy costume for a test drive this weekend!' and added the hashtag #halloween.

Last week, Ivanka was seen braving the morning autumn chill in a lush velvet mock turtleneck top as she stepped out of her home.

She paired the crushed velvet top with a light gray pencil skirt featuring an asymmetric peplum design, and topped off her look with a pair of $100 black pointed-toe heels from her eponymous clothing and accessories line as she headed out the door.

Last week, it was revealed that Ivanka wrote about going through a 'punk phase' in her mother Ivana's new memoir, which left many Twitter users mocking her for her claims.

'During my punk phase in the nineties, I was really into Nirvana,' she wrote in a chapter of Raising Trump. 'My wardrobe consisted of ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts.'

President Trump's eldest daughter also shared an anecdote according to which she once dyed her hair blue after school, which wasn't to the taste of her mother.

'She took one look at me and immediately went out to the nearest drugstore to buy a $10 box of Nice'n Easy,' Ivanka added. 'That night, she forced me to dye my hair back to blonde.'

Ivanka claimed that the shade her mother picked was three tones lighter than her natural blonde, and said she 'never looked back' after trying out that new hue.

However, some have pointed out that it is unlikely that store-bought dye would make someone's hair three shades lighter, especially after the hair was colored blue.

The first daughter further illustrated her 'punk phase' by talking about her passion for Nirvana and the band's frontman Kurt Cobain, saying the musician's suicide in 1994 left her shocked and 'distraught' when she was 12 years old.

'Mom had no idea who Kurt Cobain was, and she sympathized only so much,' Ivanka wrote. 'After twenty-four hours of my crying inconsolably in my room, alone — major melodrama—Mom had to pull me out of there to go down to dinner.'
