Tyrese Gibson's ex-wife Norma has accused the model and rapper of spying on her.

She claimed in court on Thursday that the 38-year-old has been having someone follow both her and her friends.

In addition she claimed she is afraid of the Fast And The Furious star as she took to the stand as she attempted to take out a permanent restraining order against him.

According to TMZ she said the self-help author has been harassing her since 2014, following a custody evaluation, by having her followed.

When asked if she is afraid of her ex, she said, 'at times.'

In addition she claimed he punched her while she was pregnant back in 2007, and that she met with his representatives afterwards before signing an agreement not to talk about it.

Norma claimed she agreed to this as she did not want to ruin his career at the time.

Under cross-examination Tyrese's lawyer suggested Norma was dating a drug addict which is why a private investigator was hired.

She denied the allegation.

TMZ also reports that the actor broke down in tears when he found out Norma wants to take their daughter to Israel for three to four days to meet her grandmother.

Tyrese is claiming she is being vindictive against him due to the fact he has remarried. He says he has been unable to see his daughter Shayla for two months, and wants to have the matter dealt with as soon as possible.

Norma had previously accused the actor of breaching a temporary restraining order.

The claims were made after a plane carrying a banner reading 'No matter what, Daddy loves you Shayla' flew over the preteen's school in Los Angeles.

The 10-year-old was said to be 'mortified' by the public display, which came ahead of her court date to testify against her father.

Tyrese's ex-wife Norma Gibson previously accused the Fast And The Furious star of child abuse, saying he spanked their only child on multiple occasions. He denies the claims, which sparked an investigation by the L.A. County of Department of Children and Family Services.

Norma is seeking to have a temporary restraining order keeping the actor from contacting his former wife and daughter made permanent.

She is also seeking full physical and legal custody.

According to The Blast, deliveries of flowers, balloons, teddy bears and an edible arrangement have also been sent to the Van Nuys elementary school for Shayla.

Norma reported both the banner and gifts, believing they were an attempt to sway her daughter's testimony, and a breach of the restraining order.

Her lawyer told The Blast: 'This disturbing behavior is a complete violation of the Restraining Order. It is a reflection of Mr. Gibson’s erratic state of mind.'

Her lawyer told The Blast: 'This disturbing behavior is a complete violation of the Restraining Order. It is a reflection of Mr. Gibson’s erratic state of mind.'

However, reports TMZ, Fast And The Furious star Tyrese believes he has not breached the order, as he has not been in physical contact with his child.

Tyrese, 38, has previously written detailed posts on social media of his struggle to stay in contact with Shyala.

He wrote on October 4: 'One day we’re going to sit down over tea and laugh about how they tried to turn us on each-other and what they didn’t know is that it only solidified our lifetime #DaddyDaughterBond that will never ever ever be broken.'

He was married to British-born Norma for two years, and the two have long been in dispute over their daughter's custody.
