She has never been one to hold back for Halloween, having dressed as a girl scout and Sandy from Grease in the past. 

And Gigi Hadid was perhaps trying out her next costume on Wednesday night, as she was seen stepping out in a NASA space suit in New York.

The model, 22, still managed to look stunning in the bright blue jumpsuit and chunky Doc Marten boots as she visited a friend in the city, ahead of the spooky holiday.

The catwalk queen cut a radiant figure as she visited a friend, in the eye-catching boiler suit.

The one-piece remained class in style - featuring the iconic NASA logo on the chest, and emblazoned with a patriotic US flag on one sleeve.

However making the look sexier, Gigi opted to leave the suit mostly unzipped, to give a glimpse of her bare frame underneath and tease at her cleavage.

Gigi Hadid was spotted out and about in New York rocking a space age look this week.

Sporting a NASA cobalt blue jumpsuit, featuring logos and the American flag, her look was accessorized with chunky lace up boots.

We're loving this jumpsuit which is perfect if you're planning on dressing as an astronaut this Halloween!

Cinching in at her impossibly petite waist, the boiler suit then skimmed her famously long legs to the hem - where it met chunky beige Doc Marten boots.  

Proving her model credentials however, Gigi swept her hair into a loose ponytail to draw attention to her enviably glowing complexion and striking natural beauty - accentuated by only a sweeping of blusher. 

Known for her chic ensembles, the blonde was no doubt getting into the Halloween spirit in the costume - having dressed as a number of famous characters in the past.

The model slipped into a bardot crop top and disco pants to transform into Sandy from Grease for Heidi Klum's bash in 2015, before disguising herself as a girl scout for Taylor Swift's gathering last year. 

However it is no wonder Gigi opted for a space-themed ensemble this year, after revealing her boyfriend Zayn Malik has a keen interest in NASA.

Posing at the Kennedy Space Centre for an intergalactic-themed Harper's Bazaaar shoot in May, Gigi had revealed of her beau: 'My boyfriend's really into aliens!'

The model then took to Instagram last month to document the pair's fun day of sculpting - with the singer sporting a NASA apron, which read: 'I need my space!' 

Gigi appeared to be enjoying a few days of down time in New York, after unveiling her new beauty collaboration with cosmetics line Maybelline.

Despite the exciting feat, the runway star recently admitted nobody knew about the project - not even her sister Bella, with whom she is incredibly close.

Speaking about her collection to PEOPLE magazine, she explained: 'When I landed in London on the tour for my Tommy Hilfiger line [in September], we had to go straight to a radio show.

'We had to pretty much do hair and make-up for the show in the tiniest bathroom you’ve ever seen. Erin did my make-up with the Jetsetter palette but she couldn’t say it because it wasn’t announced yet. 

'We were talking about it after – how she wished she could tell people what we used.'
