But Kim Kardashian opted for an uncharacteristically casual look as she headed to the gym in Beverly Hills, swapping her trademark vertiginous heels for trainers.

Seeming deep in thought, it's possible the 37-year-old reality star was thinking about her new arrival, amid claims her surrogate is due in just a matter of weeks.

Kim's outing comes amid claims that the surrogate carrying her child with Kanye West is due before Christmas.

For months it had been claimed Kim and Kanye's surrogate was due in late January 2018.

The couple already have daughter North, aged four, and son Saint, aged one, whilst their third child is expected to be another girl.

It was added that the stars are in 'regular contact' with the surrogate and the woman will be 'discussed' on an upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The publication also claimed that the famous couple's $20m Hidden Hills, California dream home, which is undergoing its second renovation, will be ready by Christmas as well.

Kim and Kanye are said to be 'over the moon' as they prepare to expand their family. It was first reported in July that Kim opted to go the surrogate route due to health complications during her first two pregnancies.

Kim, who suffered with life threatening placenta accreta when carrying North and Saint, is said to have been referred 'by an agency' to find the right surrogate.

TMZ claims the famous duo paid $45,000 for the surrogate to carry their third child.

'The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate,' a source told People.

TMZ reports that the surrogate is prohibited from smoking, drinking or doing drugs during the pregnancy. She is also banned from using hot tubs, hair dye and eating raw fish.

Khloe and Kylie are also reportedly pregnant, but have yet to make any statements. It is believe both are due in February.
