She's been showcasing her trim figure in recent weeks, rocking a slew of stylish outfits to promote her new cooking series At My Table.

And Nigella Lawson rocked another relaxed but stylish look on Friday as she donned a chic red velvet coat for an appearance on Ireland's Late Late Show.

The 57-year-old teamed the classic piece with a black ensemble as she chatted with host Ryan Tubridy on the late night talk show, where she revealed bizarre intricacies of her eating regime including photographing snacks and midnight feasts.

Nigella looked stunning in her gothic ensemble, comprising of a chic velvet coat paired with a simple black look beneath to best display her figure. 

She wore her bouncy raven tresses in a chic shoulder-tickling detail while her make-up was totally flawless and ready for her close-ups. 

The How To Be A Domestic Goddess penwoman gave surprising revelations during the interview, including the funny anecdote that she can sometimes be up cooking in the early hours of the morning.

She said: 'I have a pronounced sense of camp in things like baking brownies in the middle of the night. I do things on a large scale. I don't want a couple of tea lights, I want everything glittering around me.

She added: 'A lot of people here are too young to remember. In the olden days you had a cameras and you had to go and get the film developed. I used to take pictures of everything I ate then.
