  1. It's a great game, but it's over all too quickly. I highly recommend it, but I recommend it as a rental.
  2. Fans of the early Spider-Man games will certainly get a kick out of Web of Shadows and, thanks to a number of interesting features; it’s one of the better PSP games featuring the Web-slinger. Still, there are some issues that do hold this game back from being a truly amazing superhero game but what is here is still fun if you’re looking for solid portable Spider-Man game.

A welcome throwback to the Spider-Man games of old. More than a few times I found myself using the D-pad to hop around an enemy and reminiscing about playing Spider-Man on my SEGA Genesis. The action is simple, but the quirky humor, Spidey's trademark verbal jabs, and slick style make the game a lot of fun to play.

No matter how much I love Marvel and SpiderMan, this was one of the worst games made for the platform. Poor sprites, powerups, glitchy, and not fun after the first 15 minutes. I suspect they put more attention on the other platforms, I sure hope so. Expand

I bought it based on the adverts and screens I had seen but felt conned when it turned out to be a 2D platformer that would look more at home on a gameboy. There is no replay value and within twenty minutes I'd had enough. Activision have done some good titles for the PSP in the past but this is the worst thing I have seen on the PSP by a long shot. Avoid at all cost. Expand
