But Elle Fanning was back to work on Friday, when she was spotted shooting scenes for Woody Allen's as-yet-untitled movie in New York City.

The 19-year-old actress looked elated during her day of work in Uptown Manhattan, as she was seen laughing and smiling as she exited her imposing trailer.

Elle, younger sister of fellow actress Dakota Fanning, stepped out in style as she got into character, wearing a spearmint green sweater over a crisp white shirt.

She teamed her top combination with a flowing patterned green skirt, while her feet were kept comfortable in a pair of beige flat shows.

With her blonde hair resting on her shoulders in loose curls, the Super 8 star wore minimal makeup as she prepared to go before cameras for her scenes.

Elle was joined by her co-stars Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber - who gave his beloved mother Heather a treat as he took her on the set.

In recent days, she has also been seen shooting scenes for the highly anticipated project alongside another co-star, Timothee Chalamet.

The stars are also appearing in the upcoming movie alongside Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Kelly Rohrbach and Rebecca Hall.

In a recent interview, Elle dished on what it’s like to work on a Woody Allen film.

Filming for Woody Allen's latest project began on September 11, marking what will be the four-time Oscar winner's 50th feature film.
