He's been filming his new movie The Beach Bum with Isla Fisher, but it seems like Matthew McConaughey has found a new female co-star.

The 48-year-old actor was spotted carrying a blonde blow-up doll behind his back while riding on a skateboard on set in Miami Beach, Florida, on Thursday.

Matthew looked all smiles as he wore an eccentric get-up to complete his beach bum persona.

The Texas-native looked in his element as he wandered around in a Hawaiian shirt and bold patterned shorts.

Matthew added an interesting twist to his summer ensemble by pairing his outfit with gray winter snow-boots.

Straggly-haired Matthew accessorized his look with a pair of sunglasses, a yellow sweatshirt, and an white fannypack.

The actor rounded off his look with his darling blow-up doll which he wore by tying the doll's hand together and wearing her as a backpack.

The interesting inflatable piece was spotted wearing a yellow bikini and two blonde pig-tails. 

The Interstellar star certainly looked far from the heartthrob who used to make women go weak in the knees in romantic comedies such as The Wedding Planner and How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

Matthew was even People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2005.

The Oscar-winner had to ditch his good looks in order to play the rebellious stoner named Moondog in the forthcoming feature. 

Later on set, Matthew was spotted drinking out of a bottle of wine while filming his skating scene.

It seems that drinking and riding a skateboard was not the best idea, as Matthew slipped and fell off of his board.

During the fall, Matthew was still seen with the wine bottle in his hand but his blonde blow-up doll appeared to be missing.

In the film, Isla Fisher will play his wife. As well as a guest appearance by rapper Snoop Dogg.

The movie centers around the misadventures of Matthew's character, who is supposedly a lovable rogue who lives life to the full.
