And Boy George didn't hesitate to confront Delta Goodrem about persistent rumours she is dating Seal, who was their fellow coach on The Voice Australia.

The 56-year-old told The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Wednesday he isn't fully convinced the pair haven't been enjoying a romance, despite Delta denying it to him.

After confirming he was coming back for the new season of The Voice, George said he was 'disappointed' Seal wasn't going to be joining him again.

'We got there in the end, we were a great tag team,' he said of their chemistry. 

'Do you think because of him tag-teaming you and tag-teaming Delta, he thought I'll give it a miss for a year?' asked Kyle, implying an affair between Seal and Delta.

He revealed he had called Delta via FaceTime after the show finished taping to see 'if she was going out with Seal'.

'I was reading all this stuff [about them] and thought, I must be the worst judge of character! I was like, "maybe she is living with him in LA", so I rang her up,' he said.

'I said, "Delta are you going out with Seal?" She was like, "No, I'm not!" And I obviously believed her, because she was really convincing,' he offered.

'I don't know if you know, but I'm sure I saw that boy who was in her team dart across the background. That Tim bloke!' said George, referring to contestant Tim Conlon.

'So she's rooting the contestants!' declared Kyle.
