Talking with her fellow Loose Women panellists, Christine had no qualms in discussing her strong intimate relationship with Frank as talk turned to not fancying your partners.

'I love the idea of going back to basics. I love my date nights. I love pretending like I am 18 again, you know when you get your hair done for the day.

'I know this sounds really soppy, but nothing fancy. I just mean the two of us having one night just us,' she continued about her other half, who she met at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009.

However, Janet Street-Porter reminded her that she had it easy with Frank's good looks.

'Most women watching this programme will think it’s alright for you!' she cheekily informed her.

Understanding her point of view, Christine replied: 'I would not argue with that, I fancy him very, very much and feel very lucky.'

She also didn't hesitate in offering other women advice: 'No matter if your husband has changed his appearance, there must be something you still fancy.

'Just doing dead simple things and having a take away, that’s what we do and if you can keep that, you can keep everything else ticking along.'

This comes after Christine opened up about her love for budget stores, such as Poundland and B&M Bargains - despite being worth an estimated £43million as a couple with Frank.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she claimed the latter is 'the best shop on the face of this planet', and questioned why buyers would go anywhere else to pick up their weekly essentials.

Christine confessed to the paper that she loves to shop in the famous budget stores, as she can pick up her favourite household necessities for a much cheaper price.

She told the paper: 'B&M Bargains is the best shop on the face of this planet – it's fabulous. You can go in and get toys, Halloween things, Christmas decorations, garden furniture, batteries, toothpaste, anything.

'If bleach is a pound there, but £4 in Sainsbury’s, why would you go anywhere but the likes of Poundland? It’s the same brand.'

With the budget-saving shop not hugely common in the capital, she explained that she never fails to pay B&M a visit while at home in Belfast, or away from the city.

'I never go back to London without a trip to B&M. It's brilliant,' she added.

Despite their successful careers, the couple are known to be fans of the money-saving stores - with former footballer Frank being spotted in Poundland over Christmas two years ago.

Clearly a fan, he was also seen splurging £15 on essentials such as crisps and batteries, at a branch in Christine's native Northern Island in 2012.
