The teaser begins with Reynolds in the Deadpool suit - and wearing a curly wig that makes him look unmistakably like the painting icon.

Reynolds begins painting and describing to the viewer what he's doing in Bob Ross fashion: 'Let's just dance in a happy little sky,' he says as he begins to paint.

'Remember this is your world; you get to make and break the rules here,' he says as a jump cut shows a finished white landscape on the canvas.

Reynolds admires the artwork, commenting: 'Sweet baby Jesus, wish I could jump in there and roll around in all that cascading white powder.'

'Yeah, just get high on all of God's splendor.'

'God I love cocaine. So much.'

'Holy f**k knuckles, I am high as a kite right now,' admits Reynolds.

Returning to his artwork, he starts to paint a tree, telling the audience: 'Now what you don't want to do, is eat these paints.'

'Trust me on this one.'

He then says 'I'm going to whack off again...that feels good,' he says as he taps the extra paint off his paintbrush.

But when he looks up at the canvas, the artwork has been smeared with red paint and Reynolds drops his paint palette, startled.

The teaser then displays a card that reads: 'Technical Difficulties Please Stand By'.

We're then treated to a quickfire montage of seemingly unconnected action shots from the movie, due out June 1, 2018.

An unmasked Reynolds runs down a rainy street and smashes into a car with his body in one shot and in another he sits up in a coffin at a funeral while aiming a gun.

And in yet another, the action antihero tosses a chainsaw over his shoulder, before a microwave explodes.

Meanwhile, Reynolds' character Deadpool turned up in a another very unexpected place on Thursday: the cover of Good Housekeeping magazine.

On said cover, which was loaded up with pun-filled holiday-themed suggestions, the superhero appears wearing a red apron, Christmas-inspired oven mitts and holding a cooked turkey.

The largest headline cheekily states 'How to be a holiday supper hero.'

Good Housekeeping's editor-in-chief Jane Francisco said in a statement 'Deadpool’s persistence to be in Good Housekeeping was impressive – initially we had no idea who he was, let alone that he was a fan of the magazine,' reported comingsoon.net

'But after repeated attempts to ignore his… passion… we came to a compromise,' she continued. 'He could appear in one issue, if he promised to stop leaving care packages at our editors’ homes and agreed to maintain a 50-foot distance from the Good Housekeeping offices and our staff.'
