She's been focusing on acting since taking a break from her modelling career.

And Cara Delevingne was enjoying a night out in Los Angeles on Tuesday, attending a fashion bash before heading on to the Noel Gallagher gig in the city.

The 25-year-old star wrapped up warm in a smart black ensemble, donning a chic black coat and skinny jeans.

Cara added a fashionable twist to her look thanks to a classic Burberry scarf, layering up with plenty of necklaces.

She opted for barely there make-up and wore her hair in a short, tousled crop for her outing.

Cara's outing comes after she opened up about her transition from modelling to acting.

Speaking to Stellar magazine, the 25-year-old revealed she only started modelling to run away from her emotional issues.

'Modelling came at a time in my life where I wanted to please people,' she said.

'I was just doing things to run away from my own problems. I wasn't dealing with things that were going on emotionally. That's why I ended up being unhappy.'

'Being an actor helped me reflect on my own emotions, be able to express them more, be in the moment,' Cara added.

The budding actress also revealed that her godmother Joan Collins has been helping her ensure she's getting paid equally to male actors.

Taking to Instagram claimed accused sex offender Harvey Weinstein once told her she wouldn't make it in Hollywood if she was gay or seen with a woman in public.

The star recalled a later experience when she was auditioning for Harvey's movie Tulip Fever and he asked her into his room, despite her refusals.

'When I arrived I was relieved to find another women in his room and thought immediately I was safe,' Cara wrote.

'He asked us to kiss. I swiftly got up and asked him if he knew that I could sing. And I began to sing....I thought it would make the situation better.' 

Breaking out into song and then attempting to leave, the star said he tried to kiss her at the door.

'I was so hesitant about speaking out....I didn't want to hurt his family,' she added.

'I felt guilty as if I did something wrong. I was also terrified that this sort of thing had happened to so many women I know but no one had said anything because of fear.'
