It launched to much fanfare in October after months of anticipation.

And the newly revived series of Dynasty lives up to the racy reputation that made its predecessor such a success in scenes from the show’s latest episode, I Exist Only For Me.

Viewers of the CW series – a reboot of the hugely popular 80s drama – were treated to steamy sex scene featuring prominent characters Blake Carrington, played by Grant Shaw, and Claudia Blaisdel.

Somewhat unexpectedly, the pair end up in a bubble bath after Claudia, played by Brianna Brown, returns to the sprawling Carrington mansion to recuperate from Blake’s failed attempt to run her over.

Determined to seduce him as revenge for his wife Cristal sleeping with her husband, she is seen sneaking into the bathroom and delving into the tub.

Covering her face with a moisturizing mask and submerging her body beneath the water, she successfully attempts to dupe the oblivious Blake into thinking she is Cristal.

Racy: Somewhat unexpectedly, the pair end up in a bubble bath after Claudia, played by Brianna Brown, returns to the sprawling Carrington mansion to recuperate from Blake’s failed attempt to run her over

Teasing plenty of sex, romance, love, lies and betrayal, Dynasty is yet to see the arrival of Joan Collins' former character Alexis - Blake's ex-wife.

She was merely referenced by Cristal in the first episode, but it has been teased that a 'plan is in place' for Alexis' arrival, with executive producer Sallie Patrick revealing: 'We'd thought it'd be fun to build up that wonderful, delicious character before her grand entrance.'

The late arrival of Alexis is similar to that of the original series, as Joan Collins' character wasn't seen onscreen until 12 episodes in. Dynasty had aired on American network ABC for eight years between 1981-1989.
