My climb up the corporate ladder propelled me to executive level positions with Xerox and with several high tech start-ups in Silicon Valley. I have also consulted for The Dow Chemical Company and taught career management for Lee Hecht Harrison and Mullin and Associates.

I consider myself a change master. Ah, Change! Small six letter word…big, sometimes scary reality. Truly, we can create our life choices and tailor them to the seasons of our lives. We have the ability to create and live out our dreams.

Originally, I hail from the mid-west where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Central Michigan University. Typical of my nickname, "Sunny" I fled the cold climate seeking a place in the sun. Since then, I have resided in both Florida and California.

As a hobby, I am an avid hiker, I love cooking and writing. I dole out life and career advice in my weekly column published in the "CV Weekly."

Currently I make my home in Rancho Mirage, California with my husband John and our dog Zolton. I love the community and actively work to make a difference. I am the Treasurer of the National League of American Pen Women, Palm Springs Branch and have been the president of the American Business Women's Association, Trendsetter Chapter. My board service also includes the Palm Springs Writer’s Guild and the Desert Sunrise Chapter of Soroptimist International.

My passion involves helping clients successfully redesign their lives!

Prior to becoming a life coach, writer and motivational speaker, I spent twenty years in the field of human resources. It offered everything I was seeking, an opportunity to be a talent scout, a compensation guru, and a consultant to management. My professional career in HR provided me with numerous opportunities to coach individuals at all levels, up to and including, CEO's. I have worked hand in hand with managers to help them create well functioning departments that successfully empowered employees to reach and grow.
