He faced backlash after he chickened out of his first Bushtucker Trial on Monday night.

And now Amir Khan's pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom couldn't help but tease her other half following his squeal-filled appearance in front of the nation, quitting the challenge after grabbing a snake on Twitter.

The former boxing champ, 30, hilariously panicked within minutes of starting the challenge called Critter-cal Rescue alongside Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo - who was locked in a box underground - and it seems his second attempt will be just as disastrous.

And despite not managing to take back any meals for camp last night, Amir didn't appear to redeem himself on his second challenge, Flushed Out, which will air on Tuesday night's show.

In a sneak peek ahead of his attempt, Amir runs into a spot of bother after he drops one of the keys he needs in the ever-growing water, leaving him to continuously dive to the bottom of the container in search of it.

Despite successfully grabbing the key, Amir realised that he had picked up the wrong one after coming back up for air, leaving hosts Ant and Dec trying to keep his spirits up.

While viewers will have to wait and see how he fairs, it was reported that Rebekah Vardy has been banned from taking part in the next challenge on the ITV stalwart due to her fish allergy.

The 35-year-old WAG - the wife of Leicester City football player Jamie Vardy - has been ruled out of the forthcoming task Flushed Out - and any future trials involving fish on the creepy-crawly show - because of her life-threatening allergy.

The brunette beauty's best friend Nicola McLean - who took part in the jungle show in 2008 - told The Sun Online: 'Becky is allergic to shellfish.

'Obviously they are conscious of campmates' health, so they allergy test you and I know she has come back allergic to shell fish, so they won't let her do any fish-based activity.

Adding: 'It's such a shame as she would have been brilliant at it. I know swimming with fish won't kill her but it's all health and safety first.'

Rebekah has only been in the camp two days but she's already proving herself a strong woman as she got stuck in to the Dingo Dollar Challenge last night.

Following Monday night's task, Amir's agent contacted I'm A Celebrity this morning to tell bosses he's 'really scared' of snakes following his trial.

The British boxer hit the headlines on Tuesday after a photograph emerged of him with a snake wrapped around his neck at a past event but, despite looking calm and collected in the shot.

Yet, he surprised viewers with his screams during the first challenge as he screeched at producers to get him out after he picked up a slithery reptile while hunting for a key - sparking rumours he's lied about his fears.

But his management team contacted organisers of the creepy-crawly series to confirm that the sportsman genuinely has a fear of snakes and his reaction was real.

Speaking on Tuesday's instalment of This Morning, Alison Hammond said: 'His agent actually contacted the show and said he's really scared of snakes. As soon as you don't want it there, you can just say get it off me.

'When you're in there with a snakes, it's actually quite scary.'

Following claims he faked his fear, Georgie Leahy - the woman who owns the albino Burmese python Slinky in the picture - said she remembers Amir being scared.

Terrified: The 30-year-old gave up on the challenge after being faced with his biggest fear, snakes - therefore leaving the entire camp without food for 24 hours

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'I remember him being a bit scared of Slinky, and one of the guys was like, no, do it, you've got to get a picture.

'I do remember he was scared - he doesn't look it in the picture. You can tell Slinky really likes him because he's got his tongue out.

Adding: 'Slinky was really excited to meet him. Most of the time because Slinky loves me so much he'd come back to me, but in this picture he's going right for Amir!'

Shocked: However, Toff was clearly unimpressed with his decision, simply adding: 'I thought you were going to smash it
