On Wednesday, Zoe Saldana Insta-storied the tedious, four-hour process of transforming into green-skinned Zen-Whoberis warrior Gamora on the set of Avengers: Infinity War.

'I had green in my ear for like a month after,' the 39-year-old mother-of-three lamented on the April 17th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

'I was, like, vacationing and noticed it.'

Among the 33-person make-up department is Peter Tothpal, who's handling the red wig styling for the half-Dominican, half-Puerto Rican stunner.

In the Marvel Comics extravaganza - Gamora, the Guardians, and the Avengers team up to stop her adopted father, super villain Thanos, from obtaining the Infinity Stones.

The Russo Brothers are at the helm of the star-studded ensemble superhero flick, which hits UK theaters April 27 and US theaters May 4.

'There's going to be a lot of unexpected characters. There are more surprises packed into this film than any of the others,' Joe told CNET Magazine on November 1.

'Part of that is character interactions, new interesting characters, characters that have made small appearances that are really getting fleshed out in this film. A lot of people enjoy the experience, so I don't want to give anything away, but certainly you can expect lots of surprises.'

Karen Gillan, who plays Gamora's bio-mechanical sister Nebula, shared her own behind-the-scenes video from the Avengers set on September 29.

Saldana and her husband of four years Marco Perego will celebrate the 3rd birthday of their twins Bowie & Cy on Monday.

The My Little Pony actress and the 38-year-old Italian artist are also parents of nine-month-old son Zen.
