Radiant Cheryl poses for cheeky selfie on set of new L'Oreal shoot... as she continues return to the spotlight following birth of son Bear

She recently made a guest appearance on The X Factor, after stepping away from the spotlight to care for her son Bear.

But Cheryl proved her showbiz comeback was in full swing on Wednesday, as she embarked on a glamorous photo shoot for L'Oreal. 

The singer, 34, was snapped flashing a playful peace sign at her fans on set as she enjoyed a busy day shooting for the brand, who she has represented since 2009.

The star certainly had the glow of a new mother as she posed for the close-up shot, snapped by her hairstylist Dayaruci.

Sporting a sweeping of bronzer, and styling her hair into loose, tousled waves, the singer was truly radiant as she playfully threw a peace sign to the camera - proving to be in good spirits as she embarked on her working schedule once again.

Joining her on set of the secret shoot, the hairdresser captioned the shot with the brand's famous slogan: '#worthit!' followed by the tags '@lorealhair @dayaruci @karindarnell @annahcstyle #cheryl'.

After a while away from the spotlight, Cheryl was back with a bang and in a seriously stylish, colour pop ensemble.

She flashed her amazing post-baby abs in a raw edged cropped sweatshirt and a pair of wow-worthy wide leg trousers by Givenchy, which she cinched in with a Gucci belt. Nice work Chezza!

Cheryl and the former One Direction singer, 24, first met at his X Factor audition in 2008, and confirmed their romance in February 2016. 

After a number of public appearances however, including the L'Oreal Paris catwalk show and The X Factor, Cheryl recently confirmed she will make a comeback to the music scene next year.

Speaking to Vogue, the Fight For This Love hitmaker revealed she has been recording once again, as motherhood has inspired her musically.

She explained: 'What's interesting is that I love music now more than I ever did. The baby loves music too, and I always played it throughout my pregnancy.

'So back to the grind, back to popstar life, back to recording. It's all fun again.

'I haven't released music for a long time but it's good to clear your mind – silence and tranquillity and beautiful things happening to me has helped me to see things differently.'
