He's been a Hollywood heavyweight for more than three decades.

And Josh Brolin looked every inch the movie star hunk as he spent Thanksgiving soaking up the sun on the beach in Malibu, California, with his third wife Kathryn Boyd Brolin on Thursday.

The No Country For Old Men actor, 49, went shirtless in a pair of red white and blue board shorts to showcase his buff body for the couple's relaxing day out.

The former Academy Award nominee had what appeared to be a white bandage just above his navel as he emerged from the ocean. 

Josh's former assistant Kathryn - who he married in September 2016 - showed off her enviably trim midriff in a black crop top.

It would seem the pair were enjoying an impromptu beach shoot, with the actor snapping away as his wife posed up a storm in front of the camera. 

The ex-model teamed her teeny tee with black and red sweats, before later slipping on a charcoal hoodie.

Josh stretched himself across a towel on the sand, chatting with his wife as she sat upright beside him.

On Monday, Josh - the son of actor and producer James Brolin, 77 - was seen heading through LAX, showing off his toned arms in a white T-shirt.

With sunglasses slung from his V-neck, he wore a slightly faded pair of dark jeans and lugged along a couple of bulging black bags.

From 1988 to 1994, Josh was married to his first wife Alice Adair, with whom he has two children - son Trevor, 29, and daughter Eden, 23.

His second wife was actress Diane Lane, 52, who was married to him from 2004 to 2013.

Next year will see Josh in two major Marvel franchise films - as Cable in Deadpool 2 and as the Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
