Nina Dobrev is a bonafide beauty.

But even the Vampire Diaries starlet has admitted to 'feel[ing] insecure all the time.' 

The Bulgarian-born beauty opened up about worries, zits, and the importance of 'showing young girls that they are perfect exactly the way they are' in refreshingly candid interview with Ocean Drive magazine out Monday.

Nina, 28, stunned in her spread for the Miami based magazine, where she sported knit Prada, a smoldering Dolce & Gabbana gown and more choice couture.

And while the Flatliners actress radiated confidence in her shoot, the former gymnast didn't hesitate to talk about how 'we all feel insecure all the time.'

The star, who has legions of teen fans from CW's Vampire Diaries, talked about how celebrity culture and social media impacts girls these days.

'Young girls see this image and think that’s what they should be and that’s how they should wake up... [but] It’s so not real—that’s the scariest part.'

The trilingual talent stressed how 'It’s especially important now to show young girls that and to make them aware that they are perfect exactly the way they are.' 

Nina explained one small way she uses her platform to fight impossibly perfection expectations is with her social media.

'I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis. I try to reflect that on my social media, too.

'When I do Instagram stories, I’m not all dolled up and glamorous, it's a peek into my day-to-day life, which is kind of normal and average.' 

And the XXX: Return Of Xander Cage talent didn't shy away from talking about the 'unpredictable and awkward' parts of her own life.

'I get pimples and zits all the time and I deal with them just like anybody else, with zit cream,' said the starlet.

'[But] sometimes I walk out of the house with the zit cream and forget about it,' she laughed, 'And that’s just life.'
