Stassi Schroeder is facing backlash after allegedly criticizing the #MeToo campaign on her podcast.

Several sponsors have backed out of supporting the 29-year-old reality personality's show, Straight Up With Stassi, after being made aware of the Vanderpump Rules star's comments.

In a now deleted tweet, the Bravo persona defended herself, saying 'Hold up. There is ZERO bashing' while also explaining that she was being misinterpreted and had 'the best intentions' with the episode.

Stassi told DailyMail.com Saturday night: ‘We are supposed to be living in a world where women are listening to and supporting each other and everyone has a free voice. However, four sponsors have dropped me without listening to my podcast or contacting me because of what they have seen on Twitter.

‘It’s only 40 seconds of a 2-hour episode, so there is no context. Every 10 minutes in the episode I said “this is about the victims, I want this to be all about the victims”. What I actually care about is sexual assault victims, not someone who had their ass grabbed 20 years ago. I’m not calling anyone a liar.'

‘I’m questioning why we are condemning people without any investigation at all, and those people are then immediately fired. With Weinstein there are over 80 women, there is no questioning it.

'Everyone’s individual experience is their own, and I feel I made a mistake in lumping them together and for that I really am sorry.’

She also tweeted: 'My podcast is an outlet for me to share my unfiltered opinion with my listeners; but on my latest episode I crossed a line.

'It was irresponsible for me to make generalized statements about a very serious topic, such as sexual harassment, as it is not my place to speak about anyone else's experiences. I apologize.

'I will continue to speak my mind on my podcast but will put more thought behind my dialogue moving forward.'

The episode in question was titled Are We On A Male Witch Hunt? and has since been deleted.

Listeners reached out to sponsors of the podcast on Twitter, alleging the waitress-turned-reality star of mocking people accusing men of sexual assault or harassment.

Stephanie Marie tweeted what she says is a section of a transcript from the podcast.

It states Stassi allegedly said: 'A lot of them are more than willing to go to that hotel room... And I'm sorry, I'm sorry, no one can make me suck someone's d***... Especially after we were making out.

'Like there are ways to get out of... do you know how many like... it's the easiest thing to be like no... no.'

She is then alleged to have said: 'But I've been reading all these stories of women who they were making out with this person and then they were forced to go down on him, and it bl... I'm like wait, that... sounds like he thought you liked it... because you were making out with him.

'But now years later when it's now a trend to say #metoo you're going to come out and say that you were sexually assaulted?'

Some followers also addressed their comments to Lisa Vanderpump, who is both the star and executive producer of Vanderpump Rules.

Rent The Runway was one of the first sponsors to pull their advertisements from the podcast.

Stassi tweeted in her defense, first writing: 'Hold up. There is ZERO bashing, & I repeat myself 3726 times how I feel the whole media frenzy has taken away from the victims who were truly assaulted.

'You may be misinterpreting my point, because we had the best intentions w/ this episode,' she continued in the now deleted response.

Later she took to Twitter to accuse some of taking her comments out of context writing: 'About 5 ppl heard this podcast & everyone else read ONE quote without the backstory or context of a TWO hour episode.'
