Earlier this year, he excitedly announced that he and his wife Julia were expecting their third baby together - a girl - who is due to arrive during the Christmas holidays.

And James Corden, 39, looked every bit the attentive husband as he held hands with his pregnant wife during a romantic lunch outing in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Radiant Julia displayed her blossoming baby bump in a plunging grey sweater, which she teamed with blue skinny jeans and white flat sandals.

With a stylish green leather handbag resting across her torso, she shielded her eyes with a pair of tinted aviator sunglasses as she strolled alongside her husband.

Talk show host James looked equally cool in his casual ensemble, donning a black hoodie with dark rinse jeans and white trainers, adding a baseball cap to his outfit.

James and Julia, who are already parents to son Max, six, and daughter Carey, two, confirmed they were expecting their third child at the end of the summer.

Speaking at the Primetime Emmy Awards in September, the show host could not contain his excitement as he revealed the pair were expecting another little girl.

He told Extra host Mario Lopez on the red carpet: 'She'll be arriving Christmas - we're very excited. It will be great, lovely. We're having a little girl, it's gonna be terrific.'

After breaking the news to fans, former Gavin and Stacey star James later joked that after their new arrival, he felt it time to pump the breaks on expanding their family further.

Speaking backstage at The Late Late Show, the British host revealed: 'I said we would stop at number two and now we’ve got another one. So I think this is the last.'

However James, who is clearly thrilled with the upcoming new addition, then added: 'It’s a girl and I’ve already got a girl so it won’t be too much of a surprise. We are very excited.'

The actor met Julia through his close friend and History Boys co-star Dominic Cooper, and the pair went on to marry in Somerset in 2012.
