He has been friends with Ben Affleck since they were boys.

And Matt Damon proved he's a true friend by spending Thanksgiving with both his BFF and the actor's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

While there must be easier ways to spend a holiday than with a pal and his ex, Matt and his wife Luciana Barroso hosted Affleck's entire family - including his mom and brother.

Heading out of town after the holiday, Matt, 47, was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport with his wife and four daughters on Saturday.

The actor sported a low-key ensemble with a baseball cap and sunglasses, while guiding his daughter off the escalator.

The family of six appeared in a hurry as they caught a flight leaving Los Angeles.

The trip came after Ben revealed toE! News that he planned on eating turkey with the Damon clan - a Friendsgiving, as it is known.

Ben said: 'My mom's coming out, and I think my brother will come over. We'll go down the street and see Matt's family. Thanksgiving's a nice holiday.'

He also added: 'I just assume when we go to Matt's, he's already cooked something!'

Both men - who have been friends since their teen years- have relatively large families.

Matt and Ben's children are around the same, and Ben once revealed on Live With Kelly And Ryan that their children 'put on plays together.'

Matt has been married to Luciana for 12 years, and the two share daughters Isabella, 11, Gia, nine, and Stella, seven.

He also is a stepfather to Luciana's daughter Alexia Barroso, who she had from a previous marriage.

Best pals: Ben recently revealed to E! News , that he will be eating turkey with his family and later visit the Damon's who live close by

As for Ben and Jennifer, the couple share three kids, Violet, 11, Seraphina, eight, and Samuel, five.

Though the pair separated in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage, the actor still never misses a holiday with his children and is often seen attending church with his ex and their offspring.

Jennifer recently said she and Ben still get along great, adding: 'We get along really well and it's not an issue. We are friends; we can manage it.'

The Alias actress filed for divorce from Affleck in April, almost two years after they split.
