It looks like they were in the mood for a jam.
For Kate Beckinsale shared a video of herself partaking in a bizarre dance off with daughter Lily while the pair were dressed as giant fruits at the weekend.
And it seems the 44-year-old actress had first pick, for she was wearing a strawberry costume, while her pride and joy was lumbered with a drab bunch of grapes outfit.

She seemed to relish showing her 16-year-old daughter how its done, making it look easy as she minced around in her fashion forward outfit, at one point even cheekily grabbing her daughter's costume.
However the beauty generously captioned her video: '@lily_sheen rolled up on me with an aggressive stankface and a superior costume I’ll say it it’s true.'

Lily was sired by Kate's former lover Michael Sheen, who himself is something of a noted thespian due to turns in such fare as The Damned United and Woody Allen's romantic comedy Midnight in Paris.
The couple enjoyed an eight year relationship, but split in early 2003 after the filming of Underworld, which also starred Michael, after she started a relationship on-set with the film's director Len Wiseman
The trio have always insisted no infidelity, and Kate has always remained close friends with the Masters Of Sex favourite.

However the same could not be said for Len's then wife Dana, as she publicly branded her love rival a home-wrecker.
Kate and Len got married in 2004, however they ended up announcing they are divorcing just over a decade later in November 2015.
Meanwhile Masters Of Sex star Michael has found a new lover of his own - self-styled comedienne Sarah Silverman.
Kate has said she has a great relationship with her former lover's new lady, insisting: 'I love her. I love her. I love her.
'I am so glad Michael found her so I don't have to spend the rest of my life looking for her.'
