Unrecognisbale: Emma Stone, 29, looked a far cry from her usual self, as she was snapped in costume while filming for upcoming TV series Manica in New York on Monday
Emma, who is an executive producer on the series, along with her co-star Jonah Hill, donned a large umber brown shawl with brown leather gloves and brown boots, with a phalanx of arrows affixed to her back on the rural set of the production.
The Battle of the Sexes beauty worked alongside Julia Garner, who sported a similar look with a brown shawl as she held an enormous bow and arrow, with her blonde locks blowing in the wind.
Maniac, which is based on a 2014 series from Norway, also features an eclectic cast of performers including Oscar-winner Sally Field, Jennifer Aniston's husband Justin Theroux and Girls star Jemima Kirke.

Stone made headlines earlier this month when she partook in a pow-wow for The Hollywood Reporter with other female stars, giving her thoughts on the ongoing sexual harassment issues uncovered in Hollywood and the lingering issue of gender inequality when it comes to pay.
Emma cited a story actress Brit Marling wrote for The Atlantic on the cross-section of the issues, endorsing the idea that 'if women were paid equally in every industry, [the harassment issues] not be occurring.'
She said that the economics play an integral role in the ongoing sex abuse and harassment issues that have swirled around the likes of Hollywood's Weinstein, Brett Ratner and Roy Price.
'Women have had to fit into these different boxes for so many years just to get work, and if these things are happening and they bring them to people's attention, they are much more likely to be fired or to be dismissed than a man in a more powerful position,' the Scottsdale, Arizona native said.
Outspoken: Stone earlier this month opened up on the sexual harrassment epidemic plaguing Hollywood, noting that gender economic inequalities strongly figure into the toxic equation

'So it's a huge conversation for our industry, but I would hope that this is only the tipping point for us to discuss equal pay for equal work for women across every industry.'
Stone later issued an addendum to the publication as she sought to further articulate her stance - calling her initial statement an 'oversimplified response' - as she made clear she feels money would not completely eradicate the problem.
'While true to a big extent, I don't think my response was as clear as I hoped it would be,' she said. 'Equal pay clearly wouldn't fix ALL of the issues surrounding abuse of power, violating behaviors and much more.'
In related news, Stone's agent Adam Venit - who actor Terry Crews claimed grabbed his crotch at an industry party last year, leaving him feeling 'emasculated' - returned to William Morris Endeavor Entertainment Monday following a 30-day suspension as the company investigated accusations of sexual harassment against him.
Intriguing: Field was flanked by two mysterious characters in the back of the truck
