RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

The Retail Sales Associate transacts store sales, facilitates customer service, and maintains store stock levels and appearance.  The primary goal is to ensure the maximum shopping experience by providing the guest with outstanding customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the customers’ shopping experience exceed their expectations
  • Immediately acknowledge the guest when they enter the sales area
  • Anticipate and determine the guests needs

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan, participate, and supervise the production, preparation and presentation of food for a unit within the stadium.
  • Provide a safe, sanitary work environment, which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable, competitive quality products.
  • Supervise and participate in the production, preparation and presentation of all foods for unit as assigned by the Aramark Executive Chef to ensure that a consistent quality product is produced which conforms to all established standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate will possess two to three years of post high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
  • Two to three years experience as a Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine or related culinary position is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession is required; this includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems and excellent oral, reading and written communication skills.

Work in conjunction with Catering Leads and Supervisor to set up the buffets and beverages to the BEO standards. Also responsible for insuring Aramark standards are followed at all times.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Pull utensils and linens for buffets
  • Setup buffet and beverage service according to guest requests and to BEO standards
  • Check patron’s identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages

A Steward is responsible for cleaning all areas including front and back of the house. This position will help ensure that all equipment is properly cleaning and available for use while maintaining a safe environment at all times for staff and guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain Aramark standards for sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Ensure all food preparation equipment is clean and sanitized and that it is kept in a safe and operable condition; any problems should be reported to the manager
  • Organize shelves containing kitchen pots, pans, platters and equipment
  • Inspect hand sinks, clean as needed, load with paper towels & hand soap. Ensure sinks are not blocked in any way
  • Fill & distribute sanitizing solution and other cleaning chemicals to all workstations
  • Retrieve dirty wares from prep areas and neatly load onto shelves in ware washing area
  • Prepare mops and buckets with the proper soap and place at strategic points throughout the kitchen along with brooms and dustpans. Clean any spills immediately
  • Clean the interior of the dish machine every 90 minutes, check soap levels and rinse temp
  • Wash glassware, china, utensils, and pots and pans
  • Air dry and store all items in their proper place
  • Empty trash containers as needed
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors at regular intervals
  • Keep all exists and aisles free from clutter and debris
  • On a daily basis ensure kitchen equipment is clean, sanitized, and put away as instructed by the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
  • Understand importance of proper storage procedures
  • Assists in monitoring the condition of food in the storage areas to prevent spoilage, waste and contamination
  • Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules as assigned by manger
  • Use of chemicals and other cleaning agents in a safe and effective work manner
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work area
  • Drain fryers as needed and properly dispose of old grease

CONCESSIONS STAND LEAD

Responsible for overseeing staff within an assigned concessions stand. Oversee food production, guest service, opening and closing procedures, and proper sanitation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee volunteers and/or stand workers in assigned stand
  • Assist in training employees/volunteers in Micros, alcohol service safety, food safety, cash handling procedures, etc.
  • Ensure proper set up of stand and condiment area (stocking and food preparation)
  • Ensure assigned area meets cooking projections prior to and during event
  • Maintain HACCP and ServSafe quality levels of food temperatures, rotation of product, and cleanliness
  • Follow production sheets and recipes; maintain prep levels
  • Double-check menu boards and POS system to ensure all prices and items are correct.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness of assigned location
  • Count/verify beginning and ending inventory
  • Ensure employees/volunteers are providing quality, consistent food products at all times
  • Record temperature checks according to company standards
  • Ensure safety practices are in effect at all times
  • Verify all product reporting and sign-off on any discrepancies.
  •  Ensure all paperwork has been completed including:  stand sheets, gratis, spoilage, intent to volunteer, food safety and sanitation guidelines, and alcohol guidelines
  • All food/beverage items prepared and served must be paid for at full retail price by the customer.  Any food products passed over the counter must be accounted for either ron the cash register or on the credit sheet.  Employees/volunteers may not eat, take home items, or give items away that have not been purchased including spoilage.
  • Make sure all assigned area has been cleaned at the end of the event
  • Assist in handling guest issues
  •  Opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

A Prep Worker prepares men items using daily worksheets and standardized recipes.  Typically prepares cold menu items requiring basic technical skills, such as salads, sandwiches, vegetables, desserts, and other food items.  Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventories in refrigerators and freezers.

  • Prepare general ledger entries

Qualifications:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant that is deadline driven, ability to prioritize and adapt to the fast paced nature of our business, and able to work with a diverse group of managers at all levels. Candidates who have strong knowledge in inventory controls, internal controls, audits and cash management is preferred. Experienced and ability to utilize various technologies to improve efficiencies and performance.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays. Hours worked fluctuate based on event schedule.

Education and/or Experience

Buyer - The Oakland Raiders (Alameda, CA)

Position Overview

The Buyer for The Raider Image is accountable for the product selection of Headwear, Accessories and Novelties of over $5 million in retail sales. In addition, they are responsible for building a solid and profitable assortment of the assigned categories of merchandise for the Stores by managing all aspects of buying, pricing, plan-o-grams and promotional planning. These efforts include creating and managing the merchandise business plan with an assortment focus that will drive growth and profitability, forecast, plan, and implement strategies in order to achieve or exceed sales goals and profit margins, while managing inventory levels to achieve planned sales goals. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Create quarterly and seasonal product assortment plans, item level sales, and margin goals for assigned categories (i.e. OTB and OTS quarterly game plans).
  • Work with the VP of Merchandise and Senior Director to forecast, plan, and implement strategies in order to achieve or exceed sales goals and profit margins.
  • Assort and order a product assortment as well as develop, implement, and track promotional strategies to drive sales, move slow selling goods, and manage open-to-buy (OTB) and open-to-show (OTS).
  • Determine which items are carried in-store and online for assigned categories.
  • Determine expected life cycle of product and execute accordingly.
  • Oversee all vendor negotiation, logistics, and communication for assigned categories.
  • Create vendor purchase orders for new product, as well as a matrix to be used for such purchase orders for the replenishment of product.
  • Update and maintain PO generator in Great Plains including new items.
  • Participate and drive weekly/monthly accurate forecasting of sales, margin, and turn.
  • Create weekly and monthly ‘Routine’ recaps for sales and margin history as well as analysis by category, brand, size, color, etc.
  • Identify strategies to maximize sales and margin to continually evolve category dominance in marketplace.
  • Complete quarterly competitive analysis that includes assessment of the Raider Image strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats compared to the competition.
  • Manage the purchase order process including document creation in Great Plains for new items, as well as updates to reflect short shipments and cancelled orders.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Planning and Management Analyst to analyze individual store inventories in order to determine re-order needs, utilize the PO generator function in Great Plains, and generate SKU’s and all PO communication to vendors & store managers.
  • Utilize the Inventory Planning and Management Analyst to support the reorder item process for the above pieces.
  • Develop new product ideas and concepts that are brand and strategy appropriate, with a focus on significant incremental sales volume.
  • Track current and future retail trends through solicited manager feedback, sports retail summits, and league sponsored events.
  • Develop Visual Merchandising strategies that create leading and effective visual presentations to drive volume and reinforce The Raiders brand, and communicate these key strategies to the stores (i.e. Plan-o-grams (POG’s) and visual representations of themes to outsize and execute both online and in the stores).
  • Present business updates to the VP of Merchandise and Senior Director, and identify corrective action as necessary by repositioning product, communicating with stores, driving appropriate inventory levels, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and margin.
  • Work with NFL licensing on any artwork updates and approvals as needed.
  • Oversees the annual Training Camp Sales game-plan and execution alongside designated counterpart.
  • Assist with special projects as necessary (e.g. Raider Image Product Book, Raiders specific events, STM gifts, and Sponsorship Marketing needs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Previous buying and/or planning experience preferred.

  • Exceptional work ethic, personal accountability, critical thinking, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to organize and execute weekly workload on a calendar approach.
