Richie Rich! Macaulay Culkin buys a haul of presents for girlfriend Brenda Song during Paris getaway

He may not have made a studio film in 13 years.

But Macaulay Culkin is clearly not short on cash as he lavished girlfriend Brenda Song with gifts during their Paris getaway.

The couple were spotted on a shopping spree in the French capital, where they fled for a Thanksgiving weekend vacation together.

The 37-year-old hauled two bags from Monoprix, which is essentially the French version of Target, as well as a lamp that would not fit.

Following close behind was his 29-year-old squeeze, who herself was squeezing an enormous stuffed bear.

The former child star dressed down for his date, wearing heavy boots, jeans and a denim jacket.

His T-shirt bore the Pizza Hut logo, altered slightly to read 'Pizza Slut.'

The actor has a deep connection with the oven-baked flatbread food form: we was once a member of The Pizza Underground, a Velvet Underground cover band that changed the lyrics and titles of songs to pizza-related puns.

A YouTube video of Culkin eating a slice of pizza went viral in 2013 — currently with almost 4million views — subsequently turned out to be a promo for the band.

On Monday, Macauley continued his charm offensive, as he was spotted returning to the couple's rented apartment.

This time he brought a huge bouquet of flowers, sushi and wine for a cosy night in.

Culkin was and is rated as one of the most successful child actors, launching his career opposite John Candy in Uncle Buck, before Home Alone and its sequel Lost In New York and My Girl.

But a trio of same year Razzie nominations for Worst Actor in 1994 for Getting Even With Dad, Richie Rich and The Pagemaster coincided with him taking a long break from acting, not reappearing on screen until 2003's Party Monster where he played a drug using murderer.

He is currently filming Changeland, an upcoming comedy-drama film written, directed and co-starring his friend Seth Green.

Song also has a role in the film, as does Wil Weaton and WWE star Randy Orton.
