She lives in a house with windows tinted just for her protection.

Katie lives with her father (played by Rob Riggle), sleeps all day, and only leaves the house after sunset.

Her lonely life changes after she finally meets her cute neighbor Charlie (Patrick), the boy she's had a crush on since they were kids.
