Millie Bobby Brown reveals she was stranded in Bali for six extra days as she graciously thanks hotel staff for 'taking such good care of us'

Millie Bobby Brown was among several thousand people stranded on the island of Bali, after a volcano threatened to erupt.

But despite her ordeal, The Stranger Things star was grateful for the staff at the Mulian hotel, and made it a point to thank them in an Instagram post. 

The teen originally planned to visit for four days, but her mini excursion turned into a 10-day-long stay.

'Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that I have been in Bali after traveling through Australia,' began the star.'I wasn’t able to return home after a four day break turned into 10 days due to the volcano.'

Millie, 13, then gave a special thank you to the Mulian hotel staff, as well as the Balinese locals. 

'I would really love to thank all of the staff at the @themuliabali for taking such good care of us while having to extend our stay here; I cannot thank you enough! Also, to the Balinese people who are the sweetest, kindest and most humble people I've ever met.'

The star signed off with special well-wishes for those harmed or hurt by the natural disaster.   

But most of all, my thoughts and prayers are with the people whose lives have been affected by this. I truly hope everyone there stays safe. Sending all my love to Bali❤️Until next time ❤️,' she wrote.

In one snap, Millie can be seen sitting on a blanket, appearing to meditate. In another, the British actress walked along a driveway into the direction of a beautiful collection of trees.

The Godzilla: King of Monsters star also took time to pose with the hotel staff, who she so highly thanked.

Earlier this month, Millie traveled to Australia for the Supanova convention and a photo shoot.

Following her work commitments, the starlet traveled to Bali for a mini four-day vacation, which turned into a 10-day stay following news of a volcanic activity. 

Millie, who rose to fame as Eleven on the Netflix hit, Stranger Things, can next be seen in Godzilla: King of Monsters, set to hit theaters in 2019.
