They see me Rowling! Tom Felton looks worlds away from his Harry Potter days as he is left dripping with sweat after intense skate boarding session in LA

He shot to worldwide fame after starring in the Harry Potter film franchise, based on the books by J.K Rowling.

But Tom Felton enjoyed a more low-key day out on Saturday, as he embarked on an intense skateboarding session in LA.

The actor, 30, looked worlds away from his famous Draco Malfoy character in a chunky purple hoodie and shorts, as he worked up a serious sweat at Venice Beach.

The British actor cut a very disheveled figure after his al fresco workout - which saw him show off showoff his boarding skills on the streets of LA.

Clearly wanting to work up a sweat, Tom sported a thick purple hoodie with his shorts, despite the blazing sunshine, as well as slick black Nike trainers.

After a long afternoon of showing off his best moves however, the actor later retired to a nearby coffee shop, where he treated himself to a refreshing juice in the sunny climes.

Clad in his casual clothing, Tom appeared to keep a low profile as he relaxed in Venice - despite finding worldwide fame as the iconic Draco Malfoy.

Tom appeared as Harry's in-school nemesis in all eight films, based on the globally popular books by J.K. Rowling about The Boy Who Lived.

Carving a successful career in acting from the franchise, the Brit has since gone on to star in Rise of The Planet of The Apes and A United Kingdom.

Last year he also appeared in 13 episodes of CW's superhero series The Flash, which premiered in 2014.

He featured as Doctor Alchemy, a supervillain who's been cropping up in DC Comics since the late 1950s - and who, coincidentally enough, has a Philosopher's Stone.

The British actor has had a busy 2017, having appeared in Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario's flick Freed.

Bellisario's self-penned flick centred around 18-year-old twins born into a world of privilege before one event changes the course of their life forever.

Next year, Tom will star opposite Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts and Clive Owen in Ophelia, a re-imaging of the Shakespeare play Hamlet but from the female protagonist point of view.
