She gave birth to her second child with partner Bobby Cannavale last month.

And on Sunday, Rose Byrne was pictured with her newborn for the first time as she stepped out to run errands in Brooklyn, New York.

The 38-year-old Australian actress tenderly cradled her precious baby as she was seen outside her home.

The brunette appeared make-up free, and wore a loose-fitting striped shirt as she gazed adoringly at the tot.

While Rose and Bobby have not released details of their new addition's name or sex, People have reported it is another boy for the couple- joining their 22-month-old son, Rocco Robin.

The precious baby- whose birth was announced on November 16th- was dressed in an adorable festive red jumpsuit that appeared to be patterned with characters from the Peanuts comic strip.

Later on, Rose was seen rugged up and on the move to run errands with the newborn.

The Damages actress donned a mustard coloured coat as she cradled the baby in a carrier on her chest.

With her motherly instincts appearing to kick in, Rose protected her tot from the winter chill by wrapping her warm garment tightly around her stomach.

Rose also donned a pair of tight denim jeans and a pair of navy, suede ankle boots as she pounded the pavement.

Looking every inch the stylish Brooklyn mum, the Bridesmaids star also added a pair of trendy sunglasses and a canvas tote bag as she stepped out in her hipster-laden borough.

Rose's outing comes just days after Australian accessories brand collapsed into voluntary administration, months after it dumped her as its ambassador.

In March, the label dropped the actress in favour of 'younger influencers' who would cost the brand less.

However, the decision appears not to have had the desired effect, with Oroton racking up a $14.2 million loss in 2017.

Rose and Bobby are frequently seen out and about in New York, often taking young Rocco out for play dates.

Emmy-winner Bobby, 47, is also a father to 22-year-old son from his previous marriage to screenwriter Jenny Lumet.

Stunning Rose has previously gushed about motherhood, last year telling The Daily Telegraph: 'I have a new appreciation for motherhood having just become a parent. Really, I’ve turned around a lot... I’m tired, but even so, all of it’s great'.
