They have been best friends for years, with the actress even serving as a bridesmaid at the dancer's wedding.

And Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev enjoyed another girls' night out on Saturday, as they headed to Jennifer Klein's holiday party in Brentwood, California.

The Dancing With The Stars pro, 29, slipped her famously slender frame into a slinky silk midi dress, while her best pal, 28, stunned in a thigh-skimming mini dress as they made a glamorous arrival at the festive bash.

Footloose star Julianne first commanded attention in her stunning slip dress, inspired by lingerie with its thin spaghetti straps and delicate lace lining.

Cinching in at her slim waist, the dress then cascaded into a billowing silk skirt, which skimmed her svelte figure and long legs to its demure calf-length hem.

Maintaining her chic sense of style from head to toe, the blonde accessorised with black T-bar heels and layered a matching coat on top - which she draped loosely across her shoulders, to flash some skin to all.

Nina Dobrev was spotted out with best pal Julianne Hough for an early Christmas party in LA. Both girls looked gorgeous in their party, all black attire but it was Nina's bag we had the biggest crush on.
