RHOC's Shannon Beador spends more than DOUBLE what she earns as star's $55k monthly outgoings are revealed in divorce documents

Shannon Beador spent over double what she earned in 2016, according to divorce documents she filed on Friday.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star - who is divorcing husband of 17 years David Beador - listed her income as $22,000 per month with outgoings of $55,355 per month.

Shannon, 53, who is requesting spousal support, states that a lot of her expenses were paid for by her estranged husband,The Blast reported Tuesday.

 The documents give a breakdown of the reality star's spending, which includes $12,000 rent, $10,000 for 'entertainment, gifts and vacation' and $9,000 for charitable contributions.

Shannon also pays $3,225 for childcare which goes to someone named 'Maggie'. 

Another $12,500 goes on clothes, laundry and cleaning every month.

On her 2016 tax return Shannon listed a business expense of $17,274 which she categorized as 'filming preparation'.

The mother-of-three states in the papers that she has $13,400 in various accounts but says it only includes 'accounts to which I have access'. 

The documents also reveal Shannon expects to see an increase in earnings in 2017. 

Entrepreneur David, who owns Beador Construction Inc., reportedly had monthly earnings of $179,432 before taxes in 2016.

According to Page Six, as well as spousal support, Shannon is requesting attorneys' fees to be paid by David.

The star is also asking for sole physical custody of their three children, 16-year-old Sophie and 13-year-old twins Stella and Adeline and joint legal custody.

Shannon has requested David be granted child visitation.

She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Shannon shared a philosophical quote which read: 'Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.' 

The Bravo star filed documents in Orange County Superior Court on Friday after announcing her separation in October.

The crumbling of their marriage was documented on Real Housewives with David admitting that he'd been unfaithful to her during season 10; on season 11 they renewed their vows. But still there were problems. 

During the season 12 reunion show of RHOC she broke down in tears when she said it was David, not her, who wanted the marriage to end.  

'It’s not what I wanted and it’s been really, really hard,' she said.

'We went on a trip to Hawaii, which I kind of hoped would bring everything together, but he left the trip early. And when I came home, he said, "We’re done,"' she told the reunion host Andy Cohen.

'I said to David, when he told me it was over, "What happened? We had a couple of amazing years." And he goes, "We had a couple good months." It was just a knife in the heart.'

Shannon also revealed David became distant from her when she gained 40lbs.

She has been very frank with her fans about her struggle to lose weight and how the stress from her bad marriage made her eat more.  

She told People two months ago: 'It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way.

'I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties.

'You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.'
