She's been friends with Taylor Swift for over 12 years.

And Selena Gomez revealed how the two pop superstars met and eventually became great buddies during an interview with Britain's KISS FM on Tuesday.

'We actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical,' the 25-year-old entertainer stated regarding their brief flings with Nick and Joe.

'It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots,' the Say It To My Heart songstress continued.

'And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked. 

'It was the best thing we got out of those relationships,' she quipped.

Selena was quick to add that they are all on good terms even thought the romantic relationships didn't work out. 

'They’re lovely, by the way. We’re all friends now. We were young, you know; it’s a different time,' she stated.

Taylor and Joe took their short-lived love affair to the MTV Video Awards in 2008.

Now Selena is reportedly back with her ex Justin Beiber, while Taylor is enjoying her love life with British actor Joe Alwyn.

And when asked if Selena would do a collaboration with Taylor, she answered: 'Absolutely. She has always been there for me.'
