Her husband Mark Wright recently confessed that their career pursuits in different continents 'keeps things exciting.'
So you couldn't blame Michelle Keegan for being thrilled to be getting back to work on the third series of Our Girl, which is predominantly filmed in South Africa, as she took to Instagram with a picture of her scripts.
'She's back!!! Read-through today for the next series of 'Our Girl'! #georgielane #exciting #letsgo @bbcone,' the actress, 29, captioned the snap which also boasted the placard of her character's name and highlighters.

The successful British drama sees Michelle taking on the lead role of Corporal Georgie Lane, a female medic in the army.

Meanwhile, despite bring plagued with break-up rumours over the course of their two year marriage Mark Wright insisted that his wife is 'the most important thing in my life'.

Mark told MailOnline: 'It doesn’t matter what the job is, you make it work. You work around it.
'The most important thing is your personal life, especially if you’re in a relationship. Your relationship comes first.'
The former TOWIE star - who is returning to co-host the ninth series of Take Me Out: The Gossip this Sunday - went on to say that working on different continents can actually have its benefits.
He added: 'It's exciting, it keeps it exciting – separate careers makes the time you spend together more special.

'We do the old Face Time, Whatsapp, talk on the phone. We’re always in contact. It’s easy – it’s 2017 there’s always a way to stay in contact.'
The couple's second anniversary is coming up next month on May 24, but Mark was cagey about his romantic plans.
But he said he will hopefully pay a visit to South Africa where Michelle is filming the third series of Our Girl.
After filming in South Africa, Our Girl will take Michelle - who shot to fame as bolshie Tina McIntyre in ITV soap Coronation Street - to Malaysia and Nepal.

'We're just going to do something nice,' he told MailOnline. 'Michelle will be away filming. I'll probably go out and see her. I do have some specific plans, but they'll be a surprise.
'If I tell you then there's a good chance it will get back to Michelle so I'd rather keep it a secret.'
Mark insisted he is not bothered by the constant split speculation and said he was 'used to it'.
'You just get used to it,' the heartthrob declared. 'When the first one comes out, you realise there’s absolutely no truth in it – the reason why you’re in trouble, you’ve never heard of before.

'So you just kind of laugh at it and move on and wait for the next one. In the end, you ignore it. You don’t even read them.'
The loved-up pair met during a new year's holiday to Dubai back in December 2012, with Mark popping the question in the Middle Eastern holiday hotspot in September 2013.
Although Mark is a happily married man and firmly off the market, he's still involved in the dating world with his role as host of Take Me Out: The Gossip.
Mark explained that the job was a natural fit as he's always been a match-maker, with mixed success.
Friends even called him Hitch, after the dating coach played by Will Smith in the 2005 Hollywood romantic comedy.

'Some of my friends have got me in their phone as Hitch. When we were younger and we were all dating, I used to give them advice,' Mark told MailOnline.
'I don't know that it worked because they are all with different partners now.
'When I got offered the job [as co-host of Take Me Out: The Gossip] I thought, "Oh my God it's perfect, I do this for free for my friends, now I can do it for my job". It's a dream job; I genuinely love it.'
Mark said that he can predict the couples that will click and the ones that won't.
'I always predict the ones that will click. When I get there and I meet them and I hear that these two are getting on well, I think "Right, well I can't see it, they are going to be split up by tomorrow morning and she's going to be seeing him instead".

'And sometimes I get it right to be fair. I think I'm a pretty good judge.'
The fitness fanatic said that it was the sheer variety of the contestants looking for love on the show which made him enjoy co-hosting The Gossip so much.
He told MailOnline: 'Each week there's a different group and everyone is so different.
'There are so many girls who are loud, confident, first-up-on-the-dancefloor kind of girls and boys that are the same.
'Then we're got the shy boys and the shy girls, the people who are a bit wild and wacky. But I love them all because they are so different and bring so much to the table.'
The star, who was one of the original cast members of TOWIE when it launched back in October 2010, admitted he still watches the show.
'Of course I still watch TOWIE,' he declared. 'I love it. I’m a massive fan of the show.

'I love sitting on the couch and being this side of the camera rather than in front of the camera.'
Mark - who joined the show with his then long-term girlfriend Lauren Goodger, 30 - credited his success to the ITVBe reality series and admitted it even helped him meet Michelle.
He explained: 'I look back at TOWIE fondly. What that show did for me changed my life. While doing it, it is a hard job. You put your personal life on the line hence I left as soon as I had the opportunity to leave.
'I didn't enjoy that part of it but with my friends like Arg, it was fun to film.'
'When I met with the company about it, I thought, "If this gets commissioned it will probably be on at three in the morning on channel 982".
'Suddenly I got a phone call and they said, "Yes, it's been commissioned for ITV2". And then it suddenly blew up and my life changed completely.'

Mark also discussed keeping in shape, admitting he is struggling to find the time to workout more than once or twice a week, thanks to his demanding filming schedule.
He told MailOnline: 'I like to go to the gym three times a week but in the last few months it's been twice a week or once a week.
'I do eat a lot of food but I'm careful it's the right sort. But I do always have a cheat meal. I eat a chocolate bar every day.'
Reflecting on his meteoric rise to fame from Essex club promoter to prime-time TV presenter, Mark concluded: 'I met my wife in the industry. I am presenting a radio show on my favourite radio channel since I was a kid, I present a dating show on ITV.
'Everything's Wright right now, sorry about the pun.'
