He considers himself quite the fashion muse, after running in the same circles as elite models and attending the world's hottest industry parties.

But Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, 32, even had international designer Donatella Versace, 62, on his arm on Monday night, as he landed a coveted ticket to the Fashion Awards 2017 in London.

And while Lewis had won over a fashion icon with the date, it no doubt riled his former flames Rita Ora and Winnie Harlow who were also in attendance.

Clashing with the designer's famous Versace chain print, Lewis helped Donatella to make a show-stopping entrance outside the Royal Albert Hall in a bold, tartan suit.

He wore the daring get-up with chunky boots a polo neck and thick chains - complementary to Donatella's dress - as well as handkerchief to match her print.

Donatella - who has headed up the family fashion business since her brother Gianni's death in 1997 - looked flawless in her gold gown.

Also in attendance: Model Winnie Harlow - with whom Lewis enjoyed an on/off relationship - was a special guest

Muse: Lewis has fully integrated himself into the same fashion circles as models and designers

Proud: Leaving his usual model flames at the curb, Lewis decided to take the designer as his date

Perfect companion: Donatella has been the head of Versace for 20 years, taking over from her late brother Gianni when he was killed in 1997

She made the perfect red carpet date in a thigh-split dress with a corseted waist, clutching the 32-year-old driver as they arrived together.

It was a special night for the Versace head, who received the Fashion Icon award at the British Fashion Council event, on the 20th anniversary of taking over the label.

Lewis is flourishing in the world of fashion, this year attending Paris, London and Milan Fashion Week.

He's also regularly seen sporting designers from Versace, including the chain mail print.

But most notably, Lewis is becoming known for networking with beautiful models, many of which he's been romantically linked to.

Just one of them included Winnie, who was no doubt dodging an awkward run-in with the F1 driver after a reported on-off relationship.

And while Adwoa Aboah was the one to walk away with Model Of The Year, Canadian beauty Winnie was leading the model army.

Winnie and Lewis were first spotted getting close after the GQ magazine awards in September 2016.

In July 2016, it was claimed that the duo had jetted off for a romantic holiday together and she was later spotted leaving his apartment in the summer.

Later, chivalrous Lewis accompanied Donatella to the afterparties in London, leading her by the hand and reportedly partying with her until 4.30am.

She had made a quick change into a black minidress, while he continued to flaunt his fashion flair in the red suit.
