A black music executive who was boarding first class called out a white woman for trying to cut him in line as he boarded in Virginia, because she didn't believe he was a priority passenger. Emmit Walker (right, left) was traveling to the Dominican Republic on Tuesday for his 37th birthday and was waiting in the priority boarding queue when the unidentified woman (arrow, left) behind him tried cutting into his place in line. Walker posted the interaction he had with the woman along with her photo, but later regretted it, saying he felt bad he put her on blast.

Lisa Page, who exchanged anti-Trump text messages with Peter Strzok, her FBI agent lover, is seen for the first time since news of the affair broke on Saturday. Strzok was dismissed from Robert Mueller's Russia probe over the conversation and was relocated within the FBI in August. Page was also on Mueller's Russia probe for a short time but had already left the investigation by the time the text messages were discovered. The married mother carried two bags when she left home, as it was later revealed that the Department of Justice would be handing over her texts with Strzok. Heather Snyder (left) who survived the 2012 Aurora theater shooting died unexpectedly on Sunday night. Heather, 31, was among the 70 survivors of the horrific shooting on July 20, 2012, at the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises at the Century 16 theater (right) in Colorado. Heather had to have her index and middle finger amputated after gunman James Holmes (top inset) sprayed bullets into the crowded movie theater. 'We are still not sure what happened. It was totally unexpected,' Heather's father, Rick Snyder, said Monday. 'She never totally recovered from it. She was reminded of it every day,' her father said. Relatives have been told that it could take weeks until they learn the exact cause of Heather's death.

Minnesota Democrat Al Franken, facing fresh allegations of sexual misconduct and vanishing support from fellow Democrats, quit the Senate on Thursday - but refused to admit he was guilty. He painted himself as a 'champion of women' and attacked the president as he resigned. He will vanish form the Senate in 'coming weeks'. The speech is likely to be his last outing on the floor of the upper house of Congress. Franken arrived hand-in-hand with his wife of 42 years, Franny Bryson.

Deputies with the San Juan County Sheriff's Office say the unnamed shooter, believed to be a student at Aztec High School, was dead. In all, the shooting at the New Mexico high school Thursday morning claimed three lives.

A lawsuit filed in New York federal court this week claims Harvey Weinstein bragged about sleeping with Renee Zellweger and Charlize Theron (Weinstein pictured with Zellweger, right). Zellweger responded to the claim on Wednesday, telling US Weekly through a spokesman: 'If Harvey said that, he's full of s***' The 48-year-old has starred in several films produced by Weinstein including Cold Mountain, Chicago (bottom left) and Bridget Jones's Diary (top left).

North Charleston, South Carolina police officer Michael Slager (left) was found guilty of second-degree murder on Thursday. Slager was caught on video (center inset) in 2015 shooting and killing Walter Scott (right), as the unarmed black man was running away from him. U.S. District Judge David Norton sentenced Slager to 20 years in prison. Scott's mother, Judy Scott, said through tears that her faith in God gives her the ability to forgive Slager.

Stunning new photographs show the California wildfires from space, revealing just how vast the level of devastation is - as experts say it's likely to get worse. The photos (one seen main), posted on Twitter by International Space Station astronaut Randy Bresnik, show plumes of smoke covering the land and sea as the five wildfires continue to rage. But now experts say that the high Santa Ana winds have pushed the risk level for much of Southern California into the never-before-seen 'Extreme' range. The National Weather Service San Diego has marked hundreds of square miles - from Ojai in the north down to the Mexican border, and Ventura in the east to the 247 freeway in the west - in purple, warning of the risk of fast-growing, 'uncontrollable' fires. That could mean the hard-won progress of firefighters on Wednesday will be erased on Thursday, as the fires - which have already put hundreds of thousands of people under evacuation orders and destroyed nearly 20 homes and buildings - grow at terrifying speeds. Minnesota woman, Desiree Collins, who was severely injured after a Minnesota K9 attacked her as she was taking out her trash in September, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday. St Paul police officer Thaddeus P Schmidt was walking with his K9, Gabe, who latched on to Collins' right arm on September 23. According to the suit, Gabe, a five-year-old German shepherd ignored more than 10 commands from Schmidt and two other officers demanding he release Collins. Horrifying video of the shocking incident was released on Thursday. The video shows the moment that Collins was viciously attacked.

Tuesday night, CBS 46 anchor Sharon Reed responded to a viewer who emailed the station and called her the n-word. Reed says the email was prompted by a discussion about race they had been having on air, in relation to the Atlanta mayoral race. 'Reed showed the email to viewers and said 'I'll let your words, Kathy Rae, speak for themselves'. On Facebook, Reed wrote that it wasn't the first time she had been called the n-word. Many social media users applauded Reed for her restraint.

Pennsylvania Rep Daryl Metcalfe said, 'I don't like men, as you might,' after Democratic Rep Matt Bradford placed his hand on Metcalfe's forearm while debating a land-use bill at the state government meeting in Harrisburg on Tuesday. It was playtime in the snow for this polar bear and her cub as the pair frolicked in the snow, with the high spirited youngster climbing all over his patient mum who responded with cuddles. The super cute cub was photographed at a wildlife park in Finland by John Daniels. He said the cub spent a lot of time sleeping but when it was awake it was playing in the snow and jumping on its mother.

Kristi Tavenner, 38, a breast cancer survivor from Tennessee who lost her hair, has taken part in the photo shoot with her eight-year-old daughter, Rose who suffers from alopecia. The poignant shoot celebrates their temporary likeness and Tavenner said she was inspired to take part in the shoot after her daughter's bravery in embracing her own baldness inspired her to do it. The photos taken by Kellie Pizza of Kellie Rose photography, have since gone viral.

Jay Swingler, 22, and a group of friends mixed seven bags of Polyfilla before they poured it around his head, which was protected by a plastic bag inside the appliance. Their intention was to use the microwave as a mould, and by the time emergency services were at 1.49pm on Wednesday to the garage of a house in Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, the group had already been trying to free him for 90 minutes. The friends had managed to feed an air tube into the man's head to help him breathe.
