'Nothing destroys a relationship like bad sex': Mena Suvari shows comedic chops in Hot Date sneak peek
It's a hilarious turn for Mena Suvari.
The 38-year-old actress appears in a cameo on the Pop TV comedy series Hot Date, playing the role of a worker at an erotic boutique who spares no details when it comes to describing the products on hand.
In the skit, the American Beauty star fields questions from Murph and Emily (Brian K. Murphy and Emily Axford), when they enter the establishment in hopes of adding a bit of fire to their love life.
Funny: Mena Suvari, 38, showed her comedic side in a skit for the Pop TV comedy series Hot Date, playing a salesperson at an erotic boutique
The Rhode Island-born actress gets a bit presumptuous as she tries to sell the couple on the variety of naughty goods on sale, telling them, 'Nothing destroys a relationship like bad sex.'
She then delves into graphic detail about the products on hand - some of them even Bluetooth enabled!
The couple remained uncertain about the array of goods, until Mena showed them another product at the shop, a swing.
While they had different reactions - Murph thought it was too pricey, while Emily was enthusiastic - they eventually got on the same page and agreed on the purchase.

It's a comedic turn for the actress, who's been in the limelight as of late for her activism against animal cruelty, taking part in Fur Free Friday, a Black Friday protest against animal fur fashion, on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
Suvari was one of 200 activists taking to the well-heeled streets, along with actress Donna D’Errico, for the group Last Chance For Animals, clad in a T-shirt that read, 'Fur is Cruel,' with cruel spelled out in a font of dripping red blood.
Put off: The couple seems a bit shocked at the plethora of products Mena's character seeks to sell them
Wearing her message: Mena, an ardent activist against using fur for fashion, took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off a faux fur ensemble
The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday wearing a coat from Unreal Fur, an Australian organization specializing in producing 'luxurious & ethical faux fur.'
She wrote, 'Feeling cozy in my #Vintage Jaquard/Midnight @unreal_fur from @maisondemode!'
Hot Date airs on Pop TV Wednesday at 11/10c.
