'Jeff wants us to be more American', Jeremy is seen contemplating as the team brainstorm about the new series.

'The problem is that we don't look American. Wherever I go people know I'm English, terrible teeth, lackluster hair, poor wardrobe, pig gut...', Jeremy complains.

'I don't have those problems', James chips in, before Jeremy hits back with: 'You're awful, it's the hallmark of being English.'

'That's racist', James protests, before the trio, along with Richard, disappear into a make-up room.

'Sorry. Still English', flashes up on screen, mocking their attempt to become transatlantic.

The trailer comes after Jeremy took to Twitter to slam Donald Trump's controversial decision to recognise Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

'Palestinians: why not announce that as far as you're concerned, the capital of America is London,' he tweeted.

Trump's decision has caused much controversy, pouring fire on the long-standing dispute between Israel and Palestine.

In the 1967 Mideast war, Israel captured the city's eastern sector and later annexed it in a move that is not recognized internationally, before continuing to increase their hold of Palestinian territory, dating back to the 1917 invasion of Southern Palestine.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has vowed to rally the world against the U.S. decision, reaching out to traditional Arab allies as well as Europeans nations. As a first step, the Palestinians asked the U.N. Security Council to demand that the U.S. decision be rescinded.

Trump's announcement has elicited shock, sadness and anger from Arabs across the Middle East. But there have also been feelings of resignation and shrugs from many who have long given up on their leaders standing up to either Israel or the United States.

The Palestinians have been worn down by decades of conflict and years of stalled peace efforts, as their cause has been overshadowed by the fighting in Syria and Iraq, and regional concerns about Iran.
