Rihanna has been dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel for the past several months and it looks as if the relationship could have taken a more serious turn lately.

The 29-year-old singer was flashing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger that looked like an engagement ring as she was seen in New York City on Wednesday night.

The Work hit maker didn't make any effort to hide the rock as she left Madison Square Garden where she took in Chris Rock's stand-up comedy performance.

The rock looked to have a big diamonds around a champagne diamond

The ring appeared to have a large center stone that could have been a champagne diamond.

Surrounding the rock were several large white diamonds that created what looked to be a daisy pattern.

On her pinky finger the Umbrella songbird added a thin silver band.

The stunner did not appear to be with Jameel as she was only seen with a bodyguard.

The Battleship actress was in good spirits as she was escorted to her waiting car.

This ring has not been seen on her before.

It could be a piece of costume jewelry or fine jewelry she bought for herself. But given how happy she seems with the Saudi Arabian looker, it might just be a sign she is ready to wed.

Rihanna and Hassan were last seen together in Boston on Halloween; they were bowling at Lucky Strike Lanes. 'Rihanna was dressed as Kylo Ren from Star Wars and Hassan was dressed as a penguin. They were all super nice and friendly, ' a source told UsWeekly. 

In September they enjoyed dinner in London. The two went to great lengths to not be seen together. She left by herself then waited in her car for 30 minutes before he popped out of the restaurant.

On Wednesday the Grammy favorite looked stylish in a long colorful coat by Dolce & Gabbana FW17 that hid much of her figure.

The cover girl also carried a matching purse that had a snake strap. 

The Barbados beauty also had on a white Celine T-shirt and belted jeans that had wide legs.

And the Ocean's Eight actress added pointy metallic shoes for a pop of glam as well as large hoop earrings and blue lipstick.

After the Rock show, she partied at Marquee Nightclub until 5am with her friends and OITNB star Dascha Polanco. They headed to a local 24-hour diner to get some post-club snacks. 

The pop star appears to be very into her beau, whose family has dealership rights to Toyota cars.

They were first spotted kissing in Spain earlier this year.

Sources says he tied the knot with art expert Lina Lazaar at Paris Opera House in 2012. Both have now happily moved on. 

Hassan is the deputy president and vice chairman of family business Abdul Latif Jameel – one of the biggest companies in the world. Rihanna is not the first of his famed romances as he was previously linked to Naomi Campbell.

Meanwhile, Rihanna's date night comes after her former flame Chris Brown opened up about their tumultuous relationship in 2009.

The rapper, 28, spoke about the incident in a new clip for his documentary, Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life, where he described how things took a turn for the worse after he came clean about his sexual past with a woman who once worked for him.

Chris claimed that the confession came as a shock to the singer after he had previously told her they were never romantically involved - causing their relationship to turn violent.

Speaking candidly about the incident which made international headlines, Chris revealed: 'She hated me. After that, I tried everything. She didn't care, she just didn't trust me after that.'

Rihanna's next film is Ocean's Eight with Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett which opens in June 2018.
