The Mayor star also attended the The Hollywood Reporter's Power 100 Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday, and told E! News that she'd rather be safe than sorry.
Adding: 'It's so crazy because yesterday when there were those duel fires, I had such a strong feeling and then when I woke up this morning.
'Thankfully I woke up early for this event—and when everyone was coming to get me ready, they said we gotta go so I just threw my cat in my bag and I left. I'm someone who doesn't risk anything'.

Lea continued, 'I'd rather just be safe so I packed everything up and I went to Brad Goreski's house. Everything will be fine but it's just better to be safe than sorry and I'm happy that I made it here today.'
Speaking to host outlet Hollywood Reporter at the same event, she said: 'I had two minutes to think of what I can take and I grabbed my cat and that's all. It really doesn't matter, all you need is to surround yourself with the people that you love. These "things" - nothing matters.'
Many other celebrities expected to attend the breakfast had to cancel due to safety concerns, including Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

Get fancy in florals like Lea Michele
Lea Michele knows how to work the camera and here she is flaunting her fashion credentials in a dress by designer Lela Rose. Lea works with stylist Brad Goreski who often gets her red carpet ready and looking amazing. No doubt it was he who completed this look with a pair of chic, strappy sandals.
It is often assumed that floral dresses are solely summer territory but that is not necessarily the case. Recently we've seen lots of winter florals from the likes of Balenciaga and Erdem.
A floral dress like this is a brilliant investment as it gets you through summer wedding season (paired with a chic hat and slingbacks) and they also work well for party season. Sport Peter Pilotto's embroidered cady dress with a faux fur coat and stilettos this Christmas. Think cost per wear, people!
For a bargain spin on the trend head to Zara and pick up their knotted floral print dress. To be worn with thigh high boots this winter, complete with chunky gold jewellery.
