She recently bought a multi-million-dollar home in Westport, Connecticut.

But on Wednesday, Anne Hathaway was enjoying metropolitan life in New York City, strolling arm in arm with her husband Adam Shulman.

Anne, 35, had wrapped herself in a stylish blue and white checked coat, warding off the December chill with a thick grey scarf.

She had slid into a multicolored pair of leggings and swept her hair back into a bun, accessorizing with a large pair of shades.

Meanwhile, Adam - an actor and producer Anne married in 2012 - bundled up in a walnut brown jacket with lining that looked like wool.

Wearing a grey scarf of his own, he modeled navy and white Adidas sweats and a navy knit cap, as well as a black and white pair of sneakers.

Anne and Adam have a one-year-old son called Jonathan.

Per Variety, they forked over $2.79 million for the Westport house, which is spread over 4,561 square feet and apparently dates back to the 1920s.
