It has been a big year for Australian model Shanina Shaik with a plethora of high profile fashion campaigns, photo shoots and appearances around the would.

And things are set to soar even higher for the 26-year-old model, who is looking forward to tying the knot with her fiancé DJ Rukus in coming months.

'I have a really good feeling that 2018 will be my year,' the Melbourne-born beauty told Confidential this week.

'I have so much to look forward to!' Australian model Shanina Shaik has declared her excitement ahead of the New Year as she prepares for her beach wedding with fiancé DJ Rukus as well as her new TV role with E!

'I have so much to look forward to and something new to reveal,' she added.

It comes after the statuesque stunner revealed she would be working on a project with the same US network who produce Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

'I'm working with E! on a new project that will be coming out next year, early,' she told The Daily Telegraph last month.

'I can't say exactly what it is [except that] It is a TV show.'

Meanwhile, her plans to finally wed fiancé DJ Ruckus also look set to take place in the new year.

In an interview with Daily Mail Australia at the David Jones Spring/Summer launch confirmed that it will not take place in Australia.

'Unfortunately I won't be having a wedding in Australia, but Ruckus and I plan to get married on a beach.'

'Growing up in Australia, all Aussie's love a beach so we'd love to see that happen,' she added.

This comes after Shanina recently missed out on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the second year running.

And despite missing out on the coveted spot in the show, the model showed she had no hard feelings recently, sharing a photo of some of the angels and congratulated them on the show in Shanghai, China.

The stunner rose to international stardom when she scored a spot in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2011.

She went on to walk the show in 2012, 2014 and 2015, but has failed to score a spot since then.
