Wood you see the soldier? British Army show off their camouflage skills in misty photograph… so can YOU spot him?
- The photo was taken at a Section Commander’s Battle Course in Wales today
- British Army posted it on Twitter and asked if the followers could spot the soldier
- Several people managed to spot him quickly and said his gear let him down
Camouflage is a useful tool for the British Army as they head into combat.
But during a training exercise, one soldier proved how, despite having the right lighting, they can still be spotted easily.

In a caption, they wrote: 'Camouflaged in woodland on the Section Commander’s Battle Course in Wales… can you spot the soldier in this image?'
However, despite the soldier's best efforts, several eagle-eyed followers quickly identified his hiding place from his helmet.
Military cross holder, James Deegan, wrote underneath the tweet: 'Yep rear pouch undone slight shine from his mess tin. Failure to get basics right get you clipped.'
Dr Cath McGrath also spotted the solider, writing: 'Shape shine shadow? Too easy.'
Finn Wilson, and many other followers, also revealed his headgear let him down, writing: 'His helmet gives him away.'
